Its strange how much this game has changed since E3. Its finally became something a die hard Mario fan like myself have wanted. Kudos Big N, and I have high hopes for you future titles like Mario Kart 8, Zelda U, Tropical Freeze, and Smash Bros. U/3DS will blows us away as well.

Me and my friends had so much fun with this game last night I actually woke up this morning with my voice almost gone after all the dialogue we'd yell back and forth about where to go, trash-talking anyone who died, cheering when we got a hard-to-get bonus, etc. This is an incredible game, as NeoGaf wisely said: next-gen officially starts meow!

Just beat the "final boss" after about 8 hours of non-stop playing. Damn good game, and after a year I can finally say I'm proud to own a Wii U.

Screw PS4 and Xbox One, this game beats any launch title on those systems on the one thing that matters most: FUN. And by the way, it can go toe-to-toe in graphics, online features (Miiverse is awesome), controllers (Wii U Pro Controller is super comfortable), and everything else the so-called "next-gen" systems brag about. Wii U FTW. Great games, great features, great price. Hopefully consumers will get past the bad sales it suffered from over the past few months and realize that right now it's by far the best new console.

Now This is an appropriate commercial. No families, kids or celebrities, just mario gameplay awesomeness.

I was glad to hear that Super Mario 3D World got great reception from the critics. I know I was initially indifferent about the game and was cautious about Nintendo making a mistake with this game, but I've grown to view the game as amazing in what it does. Nintendo keeps making innovative games that the critics and public both enjoy. And indeed they do, since this game is simply fantastic with its coop gameplay and new game features, and also boasts great art and music to back it up. I wish to have the game, but sadly I have no Wii U or 3DS. I'll be waiting to catch up on Nintendo's game sometime in the future, as 3D World is a new and impressive title to enjoy with its complete uniqueness.

FINALLY can play as Princess Peach! Always have (and always will) love her. Find it disappointing when there isnt options to play as her in some Mario games.Glad she is in this one! ^^ By the way,the cat ears are so cute!

I love it so far. I am currently on the final boss. (not including any bonus material) I've played through the entire game, all secrets in every level found, single player with Toad only. (except for the parts where you need to press a button with a certain character. I would then beat the level as Toad after, so all of my flags say Toad). Highly recommended if you have a Wii U. Heck, it's highly recommended that you GET a Wii U to play it!

As a reviewer I don't like to put things bluntly, but this time I will. Simply put, Super Mario 3D World is the greatest platformer of our generation. New power-ups, wonderfully creative new enemies and stages, and a concept we haven't seen since Mario 2(USA) add to the already amazing Mario experience of solid controls and tight platforming. One of Nintendo's best works in recent years and proves they can still hold their own against Sony and Microsoft. I Give Super Mario 3D World a 10/10

Hey Nintendo, I got to play Super Mario 3D World for the first time just a few days ago and I loved every moment of it! There is just one thing I can think of to make it even better... Since, with Rosalina, you introduced the concept of unlockable characters, do you think you could perhaps create some DLC for... Wario and Waluigi? Wario's superior strength and... girth makes him an obvious choice for players who want to ground-pound their way to victory and Waluigi has yet to make a playable appearance in a main-series Mario title! What do ya say, Nintendo? Do it for me-ow? :-3

All the haters watching this are probably speechless right now! But was there ever any doubt this game would be ABSOLUTELY SUPERB?! Just goes to show ya, like Mario always manages to defeat Bowser, he also proves the naysayers wrong every time! This game is actually my favorite 3D Mario game, my only complaint is teh way it uses the gamepad for the levels you have to touch stones to make them raise, that's my only complain because it kinda makes you stop to look down and press it. Minor complain but other than that this game couldn't get any better.
