Tennessee was 7-6 last year. Do u think that a computer ranking that just came out this week versus a game on their schedule against defending champs, the same week which resulted in a loss, means that they are failing at TN? GA won 41-17 last year. If I was Vol fan, I’d be thrilled with where UT football is now and the Growth Since last year. It’s rather impressive. GA struggled for years and now they are doing well, I’d be careful with your arrogance. No one stays on top. But because of that Tennessee win, they got to jump the undefeated and defending national champions in the rankings, when everyone in their right mind knew what was waiting for them in Athens. Tennessee is not on that level, they just thought they were. They're a good team and I've been giving them props all season, but I also told everyone that they were going to run into a buzzsaw when they come to Georgia, much like #10 Arkansas did last year. Georgia will be back in their rightful place at #1 next week, where they should've been to begin with.

As a Tennessee fan, this is a solid take. Our defense has been disappointing this year, but they’ve been getting better every game. I thought they performed as expected. However, our offense has been strong all year, but it was no match for Georgia’s defense. Some fans are complaining about Hooker, but I’m more disappointed in our O-line than anything. Georgias defense is just flat out better than our offense. Humbled to say the least.
