Certain forms of experience put us into powerfully restorative states, similar to sleep.
Non-Sleep Deep Rest is supported by such studies and can be done any time of day or night to rapidly reset our ability to calm, focus, and, when needed, ease the transition to sleep.
Please post comments or questions below about your experience with NSDR.

I've bounced around different NSDR videos but this is now my favorite. I like it for the good and consistent audio quality, the speaker speaking in a non-forced and normal voice, lack of music, and most of all for the speaker staying with me throughout because I tend to get lost in thought when there is long pauses. NSDR has been a game changer for my racing mind. Thank you so much! Andrew Huberman brought me here and I'm grateful for both your channels 🙌

Thank you so much for this. I have CFS and it's really helping me get better because it helps me rest when my mind doesn't want to.

Thanks a lot for sharing this practice! I wanted to ask you on what conditions I could translate that into my first language (Russian) and publish it as a podcast or video for other countrymen of mine to enjoy this powerful tool. Thanks in advance. Have a great day!

This is the best one on UKposts. Sometimes I only have 10 minutes or even 5. Does anyone know of a video in a similar style but shorter? Or maybe Madefor could do one please? I'm not keen on the nsdr where they, usually women, speak in a soft voice.

Anybody else can’t help but smiling when we are ‘travelling’ around our body, feeling each individual part with our mind? It feels so satisfying, like energy is bubbling in that area. Well, that’s my experience anyway. Amazing protocol

what kind of sorcery is this?! at the end I wasn’t able to immediately move my hands and feet… or more precisely: I wasn’t able to *want* to move them Incredible state of relaxation; this will become I think a daily practice for me!

Day 9 - I do this daily, after lunch, between 1-2 pm. It is very restorative, calming and refreshing. I wasn’t able to go as deep as I went the first time, until today. It was the first time I did it seated (cross-legged), and a few times I felt my body tilting forward, because I was so relaxed I didn’t have enough muscle tone to seat up straight 🤣 This is an amazing tool, thank you! I would love a longer version to be able to explore deeper parts of this relaxed state!
