I was there that day myself, it was the conference championship track meet at FSU, I was a jumper for Memphis State. He did it just like that, and handily beat some very fast people who were dedicated track stars. I won’t ever forget that one myself.

One point though Just to clarify I remember he did jump over fence in his baseball uniform, but quickly changed into track uniform and shoes for the 100, quickly changed and went back for the baseball game.
