Then, very late in his career with the Lakers, after suffering a bad knee injury in the 1970 season which limited his offensive moves ... thats when he became the master of the outlet pass. And lo and behold his team has one the greatest seasons in NBA history.

My grandpa made me practice hook shots. It looked nothing like the sky hook but I could eventually hit it pretty consistently from free throw range even while running. I also fell in love with Duncan’s Angled bank shots and I was pretty good at it. My only real regret is that I never got to play in an organized league. Honestly wasn’t interested until late in High School and the coaches didn’t want to invest the time in me when I was already a senior and only going to be around for one season. I have played in a couple recreational leagues since then, but I didn’t keep up on my game and I just don’t belong out there anymore. Only thing I’m good for is setting screens and rebounding lol.
