The reason 2D did this because in 2D’s episode of the Song Machine Radio at the end he said his mouth was dry from talking a lot and he wanted some tea, so when it was Noodle’s turn he offered tea so Noodle’s mouth wouldn’t be dry. If that’s not like a father figure then I don’t know what is.

I hate when people try to ship the two when 2d and murdoc are obviously supposed to be her parents and russel more of a bigger brother or uncle to her. Murdoc is supposed to be the paternal figure and 2d the maternal figure of noodle while russel is more of a straight up brother or uncle (somebody she has great respect for but still can be more lose around) del i think would be more of a friend. So me seeing people ship 2d and noodle feels like shipping a child and their mother to me.
