Had mine 2 weeks. Is nice but some compromises I didn't realize. One is the icons. Ok you can get a different set but it's really annoying that some are in dot matrix style and some are not supported. No biggie but looks really odd. Second and the biggest issue for me is the lack of a photos app. All your photos go on Google cloud which is quickly full and they constantly tell you this and ask you to pay. Why no nothing photo app? Really sucks that it drives you to a paysite. Third is that it's quite a heavy phone even for a mid ranger. I have gone back to my 'old' phone which is a vivo 27 which is a mid ranger slim, light, has a photos app and also you have the normal android apps

Re: icons, Nothing has an icon pack on google play store, can try that Re: photos app, can use another photo app, e.g. gallery. for google photos, backup can be turned off, i use a pixel 6a, i don't use backup, google photo app still works

You mean the only photo app is Google Photos? You can disable auto backup on Google Photos and just use it like stock photo app. I keep auto backup off and Google Photos would still show the photos on phone and cloud which is the way I like it

lol the Nothing icons support every single app. And they are not dot matrix. You must be using some 3rd party set. For photos you can use Google Gallery and forget Google photos...

This phone have bad luck from the beginning. People who love it will love it while people who find it tacky will always find it tacky because of the loud back design. Beside contending with copycats from other phone companies the successor to the first nothing phone also doesnt look better than the original as well in my opinion.
