To be honest I think all three of them were in the wrong: 1. Rio shouldn't have said "It's not your life" It was kinda rude and disrespectful considering that the fact that he's a Morales too. 2. Miles shouldn't have said whatever. 3. And Jeff shouldn't have yelled at him he made a scene and embarrassed himself.

@@downspiral Agreed. While I do think Jeff and Rio are strict on some aspects (school, grades, manners, family) I don't think they're usually that strict but they know Miles is lying to them. And I think Miles has always been mostly open with his parents, so they just... don't know how to react. And they don't always do it well.

Of course all she had to say was that Miles is still technically a minor and needs about three to six years on him. But being a mom she probably can't imagine the idea of letting him go.

To be fair we all have moments like this. There’s is no need to make a Big huge deal out of it though.
