Same. Especially when Capitol Police have been scapegoated. While there were some apparently who did not do their duty ( and two I believe have been arrested) , they were woefully undermanned. They have received the lion's share of the blame when the Pentagon refused and then delayed assistance! I have NO doubt those orders came from Traitor in Chief! The Medal of Honor is almost impossible to get and you can only receive it during active military service. He SHOULD receive the Medal of Valor. It's basically the police force's equivalency to the MOH.

The guy wearing the Q shirt (the one that the officer pushed) has been arrested by the FBI and faces 5 federal charges. His name is Doug Jensen and he's from Iowa. They found him because he tweeted a pic of himself inside the Capitol, with the caption asking people if they liked his Q shirt. These folks certainly aren't the brightest bulbs!

I grew up in Germany in the 1960s and 70s, demonstrated (against US nuclear wapons in Germany and nuclear reactors) in the 1980s. But in Germany we once called the police "Unser Freund und Helfer" (Our friend and helpers). I think there are a lot of bad cops in the USA - but also many good and honorable cops - like in evry job (up to presidents). This officer has done his job and used his brain to rescue lives. If you ever come to Germany: Be nice to police officers and they will be nice and helpful to you! And if you ever get stopped in a car: We have different laws! You have to show your ID or passport and your (international) driving licence. I keep pressing my thumbs for a good inauguration soon! All the best!!!

He should be the new secretary of defense for the outstanding job he did in protecting our Capital and everyone inside. He’s definitely under appreciated and deserves a appropriate promotion. He was on the frontlines, face to face with those mindless zombies, they almost ate him alive! He must have been so scared but he held on and risk his life so that others may flee to safety. So thankful hes okay as well
