Officially Starting the Skoolie Life | School Bus Conversion Ep.1

Bus #809, a bust or the right bus? After our last experience purchasing a bus, we started to wonder if the Skoolie life was right for us. We just couldn't resist when we saw #809 pop up on the auction. It seemed to be the bus we've been searching for all along. A 2009 BlueBird Vision, with a Cummins engine, rear door on back, and a no rust Florida bus. Was this too good to be true? Guess you'll have to watch and see if bus #809 was meant to be.

Nice!!! I got a 99 bluebird 5.3 short bus for $3000 with a generator, inverter and batteries included thanks to my uncle. Maybe we'll meet at skoolie festivals and everywhere else!! I'm heading east after my bus is finished

This video. This is where rhings started to go south. Most people will tell you bring a MECHANIC with you to check out the entirety of that big ass thing, they're are so many things to check for that can go unaddressed when buying a new vehicle wwther it be a bus or a motorcycle doesn't matter

Cummins 6.7 ISB with Allison 2500PTS. I have a 2010 Vision Handy Bus. 77in ceilings, flat floor no wheel wells, air ride, the AC units are integrated into the bulkheads front and rear instead of them ugly boxes hanging out of the ceiling. It's only a 9 window though. Yours is a bit longer. The Blue Birds are my favorite busses. My 2 main buses are a 2010 Vision built in 2009 so no DEF required with the Cummins 6.7, and a 2005 full lengh long bus with the CAT C7. Both run great. You don;'t even want to know what I paid for them though. No you sure don't. I'll admit, I stole them.
