Oklahoma Bigfoot. An Evening Hike into the Creek Bottoms.

Join me as I hike into a canyon in a new research area. I walk in shortly begore dusk and do a night observation in the creek bottoms. I share a Bigfoot sighting that occurred near this location several years ago and talk about some projects for this summer. Note how the woods go completely silent at the 12:06 mark when I point out that I hear something walking. I Hope you enjoy coming along with me on this trip. Thanks for watching!

At least when you stay in the woods the most dangerous thing is an animal and not someone trying to mug you. And all those lights and traffic noises make it difficult to hear and see much.

4:15 that area will be a mosquito nightmare once spring rains are finished. Is this near the location you camped on livestream weeks ago? I’ve been itching to camp over here but Comanche county still hasn’t lifted their burn ban and I want a fire. It’s anticipated to be lifted Monday though.

You are correct. And we got a pretty heavy rain this week. Not only are the mosquitoes terrible down there, the heat and humidity is unbearable in those creek bottoms in the summer. I'm going to try to go back to that area again in the next couple of weeks before it gets flooded.

I just realized that I didn't answer your question. It's not very near the location where I did the live stream. It's about 15 miles south of there. There is no cell phone signal where I shot this video.

Not generally. But there has been a time or two when I've been a little concerned. Years ago we had a large rock bounced off a tree outside our camp in the Kiamichi Mountains. That definitely got our attention. Thanks for watching, glad you like the channel!
