Ole Miss had to play hard to beat Miss State. Mike Leach is an amazing coach, he can do so much with modest talent. As he gets more players who can play his style of offense State will be tough to beat. I've been an Ole Miss fan since 1960 and the State games are usually a fight to the finish. State can be proud of this season, and I'm extremely proud of the 10 win season for the Rebs. Now let's get the 11th win. Congratulations to Lane Kiffin. He had a great year, (and) you need to stay at Ole Miss and screw Miami - Florida - LSU !!! You don't get famous changing schools every or two-three years. Stay at Oxford and build a legend as did Johnny Vaught. That's how you get a legacy.

As historically bad as the Ole Miss D was in 20 Corral and the O were good enough to win us 5 games. I said in August if the D could could keep teams under 30 in 21 we had a great shot every game. That is the fourth straight game we have allowed 0 tds in the first half. Against State's O that saying something. I figured they would be 30+ on us today. He can thank Matt Luke and Hugh Freeze for the 10 wins. All the really significant players were theirs: Corral, Ealy, Conner, Ben Brown, Sam Williams, Drummond, Sanders. Chance Campbell and Jake Springer are transfers Lane didn't recruit. Without Corral next year Lane is looking at a much different season and his stock will fall.
