It illustrated to me how far removed the Novus Ordo Mass and councilor Church in general has become from the Catholicism of the ages. I am trying to learn it also. I heard this in church 3 Xs now during Communion. I have noticed that some parts are sung by solo or less than the whole choir so I will try to learn the part that everyone sings and enjoy the remaining being sung to me. Some of those Latin words are hard to sing. If it wasn't for COVID I don't think I would have ever heard this as we are usually singing, not just the choir.
