I will forever respect Ryan’s strict ambition to ONLY put out the best songs. The best instrumentals, the best message, the best lyrics, the best video. One Republic deserves so much more. They know what the emotional heart wants to feel and what the tired thoughts want to dream. The perfect amount of emotional moments in this song and video. One of my absolute favorite songs from them. Listening to this is truly a Magical experience

What DO you do when someone tells you you're going to die? I answered that question a long time ago when it my doctor told me that very thing. The answer I suppose is quite simple really. YOU LIVE! You become more alive then anyone you know or probably pass by on the streets. Is as if everyone else is sleeping or under some sort of spell, completely blinded. Yet all around them are the most beautiful things you could see IF you were blessed enough TO SEE. It makes everything that actually IS right in front of you and surrounding you and every other person on this planet. It makes a smell, a taste, a moment, a smile, a tree so much more beautiful, stronger, sharper, more meaningful to put it lightly. When someone tells you you're going to die, only then are you able and capable to truly get to live! What you would think would be a curse or damnation is actually the complete opposite. It's no sugar coating, a Saving Grace and honestly! Lol People would pay absolutely anything to have it. In October 2010 I returned from Europe after lived 8 years there and many other years many other countries/places since child all alone, 3 years Bali 2011-2013 and Your "Good Life" came out as soundtrack of "Eat, Pray, Love" (Elizabeth Gilbert/Julia Roberts) both the song and the movie reflect myself and my life, then returned to Java/Jakarta and now the past 3 years since November 2017 back to my Ancestry roots and our Ancestral inherited private lands here on Equator, Sumatra, Indonesia. Yes, love wildlife.
