Rosalind and Sam met for lunch at The Wee Whisky Bar, part of Ubiquitous Chip in Glasgow. In a world exclusive, Sam shares with Rosalind his not-yet-released gin, a follow-up to Sassenach Whisky and tequila.
Rosalind learns all about this new gin, the inspiration for it and the botanicals that go into making it - all 7, or is that 8? Sam talks about his favourite Scottish restaurants, when and where you'll be able to buy The Sassenach range of spirits, writing The Clanlands Almanac, his food obsessions, what life looks like after Outlander and much more.

I’m waiting on his Gin to hit my area. And I’m probably old enough to be his mother, but this man is everything, love him. I’m a little embarrassed that I’m so infatuated with him, but he seems like such a sweetheart.

He's going to make some woman a very lucky lady, if she's worthy. Just like Sam . His name is Sean and he's Irish, English mostly. Sam is the very best man I've seen in a very long time. Such an interesting conversation with such an adorable person like Sam Heughan! I really enjoy his enthusiasm for everything he creates. Hi Sam, I am a fan of outlander and very happy that you like to drink Kavalan whiskey. Kavalan is an old folk's name from North-East Taiwan. The city is called Ilan. Where I was born. The Kavalan whiskey distillery located about 15 minutes away from my parents house. There the weather is a bit like Scotland (rain a lot) with great sweet watter and surrending by mountains. Bonjour 👋 désolée je ne parle pas l'anglais mais il me semble qu'il parle de son whisky et de gin c'est une pation pour Sam. Il me semble qu'il a un établissement à lui pour proposer ses alcools. J'espère ne pas me tromper en vous parlant de cette pation. Merci et dommage que se ne soit pas sous-titres. J'adore entendre parler sam avec cet accent écossais et de le voir pationner de toutes ses aventures de cinéma, de la nature, de sport, et de beaucoups d'autres pations . Why would he think eating animals is not a good thing when it makes him feel so good, but also what does he think our ancestors ate since the dawn of humans? If food wasn't shipped from all pockets of the earth, would he still think eating vegan is a good thing, I wonder? I mean, there is not one indigenous culture that eats completely plant-base
