ok ok i know this is a different era now but remember in dying in a hot tub in the music video it seemed like it was mainly effecting Emerson bc he jumped in first and then Rem and Seb jumped in after him to try to save him like we all thought? and in this Remington seems to be the one who's mainly effected so what if nervous breakdown is gonna be focusing more on Seb?

I've got one big and crazy theory that Emerson is Liseil Inc, or he owns it and that he either tries to heal Remington and Sebastian from some mental illness by giving them medication, in order to help his brothers or even more extreme, that he created Remington and Sebastian as additions to his own little world he's creating by drawing and sketching everything he thinks of. But in this case Remington noticed that he is just an artificial creation of Emerson and he tries to fight this, by attacking Emerson, screaming at him "stop fucking with my head". This theory also get's supported by Emersons Teaser on Twitter where he said: "Patient X was the firt experiment created by Liseil Inc", so he basically told us that Remington was his fist creation of a humunculus or something like that and so Remington is way more fragile that Sebastian, who could be his second creation of this kind. Also I can connect this with the theories from "You'll be fine", so that I would say Emerson tries to stage the whole clinic-scenario to give his creations a reason to believe they are just mentally insane but not made by him. He tells them that he is their brother and he wants to help and protect them, but for real he's their creator and tries to keep them with him, so he won't be so lonely in his mind. That's why I also think that the man shown in the video could be an older version of Emerson remembering his creations and his company Liseil Inc, in which he worked all by himself and locked up so he won't get distracted. So also the end of the video is staged, where the three of them get kidnapped and taken away, Emerson might have asked someone to do that to them so he can play his little game on, telling Remington and Sebastian that they are crazy whilst he is the one with the ttue mental illness. The voice saying "You never really know in which direction progress lies" tells us that Emerson tries to progress his own mental health in a direction he doesn't even know by himself by spending time with his creations, whilst Remington get's angry and crazy about the fact that he knows, that he isn't real and he wants Emerson to tell the truth and to stop fucking with his head. Okay so after watching this a few times, I think I have a rough idea for a theory. I think Remington is trapped in this house alone as he's being experimented on, purely because he's the only one who doesn't leave the foyer. Sebastian is seen outside and Emerson is seen reading upstairs, whereas Remington is confined to downstairs where he tries to climb the stairs but doesn't seem to make it. This can also be seen where Sebastian and Emerson don't seem to struggle in any form when they're taken where as Remington panics. I also believe that he thinks Daniel is working for Liesiel and that's who gives the older man the note, that Daniel is conspiring against them. Notably, there's a split second where Remington is screaming at Emerson to stop, and maybe that's what the drugs are doing to him, causing him to hallucinate his brothers and this also has a fun parallel to You'll Be Fine where it was Emerson shouting at Remington. I think the drugs that they are testing on Remington are making him complacent, hence the shot of there being an open door but no one makes a move for it. So tldr; Sebastian and Emerson aren't really there and Remington is going mad and is 'stuck' mentally and probably physically whilst Daniel collects information on the three of them.

So here is a way too in-depth description of the correlation :) So we know the heading on the burnt paper being held is 'lieseil inc x warhol stars' and also you can see the star tattoos on the holders hands. For those of you who don't know, the warhol stars were a group of 'celebrities' that Andy Warhol used in his art and films, and generally involved day to day. One of the original Warhol stars was called Emerson, and in a tweet from 2015, where a photo of Emerson is captioned ‘A Warhol star’ it is suggested that our Emerson is too. Interestingly, you may have noticed the odd sizing of the FWMH video, the film the original Warhol star Emerson made his debut in (chelsea girls) is the same aspect ratio as the FWMH video (prob a coincidence?)
