There’s a reason the History Channel has produced hundreds of documentaries about Hitler but only a few about Dwight D. Eisenhower. Bad guys (and gals) are eternally fascinating. Behind the Bastards dives in past the Cliffs Notes of the worst humans in history and exposes the bizarre realities of their lives. Listeners will learn about the young adult novels that helped Hitler form his monstrous ideology, the founder of Blackwater’s insane quest to build his own Air Force, the bizarre lives of the sons and daughters of dictators and Saddam Hussein’s side career as a trashy romance novelist.
New episodes twice a week on iHeartRadio.

And the last thing mentioned was that when Vince ran into the ring pissed off at a screwed up match outcome and blew his quads, this was in 2005 so a lot more has happened since then. Amazing that of all the bastards covered, most have had 2 parts, a couple have had three parts, Vince had 6 and there's still more that could be covered. It could be argued that the length was due to all the wrestling history that was covered as well.

owen hart's accident was totally and complete negligence. it came out in the court case, vince could have hired the same stunt coordinator who does sting in wcw. HOWEVER!!! he was deemed to costly. so they decided to hire a cheap, less experienced stunt guy who used cheaper equipment for owen. if you ever watched sting in wcw, when he descends. it takes him several minutes to unhook himself. why? because he is thoroughly safely secured.

Just a point of correction, John Cena and Batista botched the finish of the Royal Rumble match, which was why went Vince out. Vince tore one quad getting in the ring, and since he's made of anger and wasps, he tries to walk backstage unassisted and tore the other quad with the exertion.

On the Bret Hart Shane Michaels dispute. Michaels refused to job to Bret Hart, when he held the title at one time, he temporary retired from the business, saying he lost his smile and vacated the title before. He always refused to lose to Bret. And at the Montreal screwjob, if you saw the original live broadcast, you saw McMahon at ringside yelling at the referee to call for the bell. And the following re-broadcast later that night, as well as in all repeats of this broadcast they showed this scene from a different camera angle so you didn't see what MaMahon was doing at ringside. I can't blame Hart as he always had to lose the belt to Michaels while Michaels always got away with not having to lose the title to him. When Michaels later defended the title against Stone Cold Steve Austin, people were concerned that Michaels would refuse to job, and the Undertaker, Vince's locker room enforcer, went to Michaels and told him he would get hurt if tried to pull any stunts and not drop the belt to Austin.

So hey, you know what's interesting here? Interesting about what you're all saying? Remember the part of this where they're talking about Vince's pathetic and manipulative tactic of trying to throw someone's entire point under the bus by pointing out irrelevant mistakes by saying "looks like your memory isn't so good" after they only mixed up irrelevant details like the name Barry vs the name Larry, when there's a person named Larry right in the room which clearly threw them off? You know, how he was arguing completely unrelated, base-level semantics to manipulate people and distract away from what the actual point is by being irrelevantly pedantic? Yeah, that is basically all of you right now. Trying to distract from what's being said here, by pedantically pointing out common and basic tiny mistakes and semantics that have nothing to do with the actual point of what's being said, to try and make yourself look smarter than you are, or make yourselves look like you have a point when you have none. "UHHH AKSHULLEY IT WAS 2007, NO 2008 LIKE SHAAA GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT BRO HUHUHUHUH" Yup. That makes you look so amazing, huh?

The Sheik vs Andre match happened in 1971, not 1969. at 19 minutes in, its mentioned that a member of the Full Blooded Italians (FBI) was repackaged as a terrorist character after 9/11. That is false. Muhammad Hassan (Marc Copani) was never a member of the Full Blooded Italians. He just happened to be Italian. Also, the character did NOT start off as a terrorist character. His promos were about how Arab Americans were also Americans. The audience didn't like that, so the audience treated him as a heel, despite his promos on tolerance. 3 days before the London bombings in 2005, he was part of a terrorist angle. That episode aired on the day of the attack. His character was forced off network tv, never to be seen again, and he was quietly released.

fun fact about Desert Storm: the Iraqis used nerve agents delivered via artillery twice against US Marines, and then Congress covered it up by calling the Marines in the M93s bad at their jobs. About the Bret Hart thing, he'd also offered to lose the title to Mick Foley or Steve Austin, even as soon as the very next night after Survivor Series. WWE and Vince push this narrative like they HAD to do it, otherwise Hart would take the title to WCW the next night, when Hart was under contract for another couple of weeks. If he could've shown up on WCW the next night, you can bet that WCW would've had him there. But it was about a month or so before he made an appearance, and it was January before he was legally allowed to have a match rather than just appear on the show.

Antlers of lactating deer? Only male deer have antlers so is Vince an idiot or does he think his wrestlers are?

So he didn't pretend to make bret hit him, he went to bret like a man and told bret because he knew he deserved, ill give you one hit. The idea for the finish of the match came from jim cornette because vince challenged him to come up with a finish to the shawn bret match. Vince didn't know what to do. However vince wasn't supposed to go to ringside. There was a stretch of time where people weren't completely aware that he was the boss, by going to ringside that brought it out. That night is when Mr. Mcmahon the character was born .

Several people have taken credit for the screw job. hhh and Vince Russo both said it was their idea.

Man your Co-hosts are doing way too many out-of-line jokes during the serious segments. Just constantly interrupting you to throw in some unfunny joke all the time. I think at one point in the podcast you couldn't even finish 2 sentences before dumb and dumber chimed in. Hell, you fricking throw in joke after joke while the host tries to tell the audience how a fricking child was molested and later offed himself. They really need some social awareness.

@@thecharlierealz wow he paid for retired wrestlers surgeries and funerals that he caused, and had to pay for beacuse he underpaid them so badly they couldn't afford it. The tribute to the troops was a distraction which you would know if you watched these episodes. Being a star has no moral weight attached to it, and making 9 billion dollars off the lives of your employees is actively a bad thing.
@thecharlierealz
@thecharlierealz 11 місяців тому
@@jakepietrzak7552 is it up to you or your company as to how to manage your finances? Its ridiculous to blame employers for what you do with your pay. He also send wrestlers to college, for free. How the hell is tribute to the troops, a yearly thing, a distraction? Im not even going to try and comprehend how holding anti-bullying rallies is an empty gesture. And the point of making profits is to be able to pay your employees and grow your company. Every business is created to be sold at high value.
