Be very careful with this particular guy……… I heard him on one clip on Joe Rogan back in July,…. It’s now October, and I’ve booked a trip to the Amazon on his expedition. JJ died. About 30 minute in He told the story about how great of a man JJ was and how he was somewhat of a legend of the Amazon until one day he was at a local BBQ and suddenly passed away. He doesn’t elaborate on how he died.

I understand, only because I have an adventurous son. I taught him to read and count early and that's where it ended- his real education was time with my dad, a biologist or building and fixing things with his dad. My son could identify unique classifications of birds, animals plants and trees by age five. By second grade his teachers tried to get me to put him on medication because he was bored, energetic and he didn't like sitting at a desk and staring at a one dimensional piece of paper for eight hours. He was a normal boy but we let him get tested, then I refused to put him on pills, especially when I learned that every child in his class got a recommendation to get tested and every child got a prescription. It's a situation of government subsidies, the doctors and the schools get a financial kickback. l think that we're evolving, cells have memory, we carry the history of our ancestors inside of us and we need to tap into that, at our core level, if we're going to know the truth about human history and cycles of destruction. Other than learning to read and to do some math, school is a monumental waste, they're teaching an agreed upon set of lies and with the level of indoctrination now it's become downright detrimental. Kids are being conditioned for conformity, legal slavery unawares and institutionalized living and thinking. A boy's natural thirst for adventure- that adrenaline rush- is channeled into sex, drugs, fast cars and otherwise embracing the dark side. Or they resign themselves to their fate and escape into technology and/or conforming. I don't think enough people realize that we are going to be living off the land in our lifetime, and it will be incredibly rewarding and humbling..some will choose to lose their soul in exchange for inconvenient convenience, it's essentially bondage leading them blindly into the mouth of the dragon. We would do well to start workshops teaching children- and even adults- basic and advanced survival skills and natural living. The world is so incredibly vast, parts of it have yet to be seen by human eyes, so beautiful -yet people pile on top of each other on a concrete slab, a prison without bars. That isn't truly living.

Almost every other show falls into one of four categories; 1) academic (usually AI, mathematics or computer science) 2) super-guest (Musk, Rogan, Kanye) 3) biographical story of a comedian or a rare athlete/skill holder (Like the chess player or the arm wrestler) 4) political theory in general, historical event or current event (like Ukraine) This show is more like an adventure. This category should be explored further by Lex imo.

I was thinking the same. Walking to my mailbox a half mile away I see tracks. I heard leaves rustled. I see a tree being bored by something with claws for bugs inside. I step over a bug. Nothing compared to this man’s experience but quite something to what most people experience. I’m also in the South. Very rural. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Just in the past few days I've seen deer, crows, turkeys, buzzards, squirrels, geese, hundreds of various species of birds, and a possum in my large back yard that borders woods. I keep a pair of binos on my kitchen window sill to get closer looks. I put all my animal carcasses and uneaten food near the treeline so make sure the local buzzards always have a snack. They are ugly to most people, but to me they're beautiful. Few people realize that buzzard poults are fluffy white. We had a family living in an old shooting box on my dad's farm. We turned it over to them, lol.

Very well put! I love scuba diving places that have never been seen, and it all goes back to a creek at my grandmothers house on the mobile bay. That creek, from the clams in the sand, all the way up to just the Spanish moss hanging from centuries old oak trees hanging over it, all gave me such a strong sense of wonder. Like how is there so much beauty, and we don’t even know the half of it!

Go outside- kick off your shoes- walk barefoot on the earth and soak up the sun and Mother Nature!! My favorite place and sanctuary is my woods! God is near you there, also.👍👍✌️🙏❤️

I actually love the way he’ll just stop after hearing his guest speak and just close his eyes, breath deep and absorb what he just heard. I do it at the same time sometimes while listening.

i honestly got annoyed more than once that hed go back to the notes and dive off one subject paul was talking super passionately about, like saving the rain forest and how he can have an impact at 18 - and lex immediately looks at the paper and asks " so what about andacondas". Was an amazing interview and im new to his process / channel but it felt pretty inauthentic more than once bc of this
