I love when God proves doctors wrong. But what irritates me more are the rude people. The cause of a stroke is immaterial. What is important is the result of the stroke. To blame a stroke on a shot or anything else, while the family is dealing with a stroke victim is sinful. People need to be sensitive. I remember so well my father’s stroke, how much it hurt the family, what it did to my mother. God choose to spare him. He never regained his right arm or complete speech but he never lost his personality, his great sense of humor. He lived 11 years after his stroke. He was promoted to Glory 18 years ago and I still miss him. Sorry about the ramble. He died on October 11 and this is so difficult time. I am praying for Chris, you and your family. Love you.

Chris truly married an amazing man when she married you Jimmy.. A real fairy tale prince. Im 48 still have hopes that one day im so blessed to find my soul mate, seeing how much love you and Chris have gives me hope.. even if it's not ment to be now someday!! You have every right to say what you do Jimmy. Some people are so full of just insensitivity. Everyone has a right to their opinion but sometimes people need to just move on. And doctors told my husband he wouldn't survive cancer over 30 years ago. Not only did he survive that 2nd cancer but he has survived a 3 cancer of the colon(10 years now). GOD knows our timing. Some doctors also need a bedside manner etiquette. Your family has given Chris so much love. And all with your strong FAITH in our LORD. Keep that smile going Jimmy. GOD is right their chuckling. This has been so inspiring in a time when our world needs to see the love of two amazing people. My SIL and his mom took his dad to Mexico for stem cell IV for his ALS. We need more of this in the US where people can afford it.

Jimmy, it’s amazing what love, prayers, positivity & perseverance can do. Looking forward to hearing the stem cell therapy updates. I had umbilical stem cell therapy almost three months ago. I have had a spinal cord injury just over twenty years ago. So far I can walk better, has improved my bp and the great blessing for me.......NO MORE PAIN! Prayers for Chris. Go with all the hope you can in your heart with no expectations. I talked with my brother yesterday. It has been 33 years since his stroke. He learned how to talk by singing. He learned how to walk, but it took months to regain strength and motor control. He just started working his hand with a mirror box on his own- after therapists had been discouraging him for eight years. They thought he had made all the progress he ever would. He has worked for a week now mirroring, and has tingling in his right hand, and some movement. I only wonder where he would have been, if he had had people of faith working with him from the start. We fought to get him reading, occupational, and speech therapy. We were like the ones who broke up the roof tiles to get our brother to Jesus. We never gave up, and felt our faith on his behalf counted for something with Christ. After the first 3 years, he was able to get his own apartment, and has lived independently for the last 30. Cooking, doing his own laundry and shopping. God gets the Glory everyday in his life. Don't give up. God has a plan for Chris. In your patience possess you your soul.

Never give up. I had 3 TIAs and a stroke 11 years ago. I didn’t really start getting better till year 3. Before that I basically sat in a chair all day. I love to read but reading then over stimulated me. Even going to get my hair cut was hard bc of the lady (my good friend) just talked so much I would start to shut down emotionally. My brain actually hurt when I was over stimulated. I couldn’t remember if I ate that day or fed the dog. About yr 3-4 my brain started reconnecting around the bad areas. It sounds weird but our brains can do that. Today, I can do almost anything I want. I even ride my two wheeler Harley. Yes I have some residue problems and struggles and I’m ok with that. God is good. He has healed me in so many ways.

The doctor said the same thing about my mom. But I had faith and the doctor was wrong. My mom did great but it took time. After the operation my mom was hungry. The nurse came out and said I never heard that before I said you don't know my mom. This was after her stroke. Keep the faith.

My God’s plan is the best 👌 My 27 year old granddaughter had been on a ventilator for 16 days with COVID pneumonia, in a medical induced coma, and she came off it last Wednesday I believe it was and she is awake as of Sunday. I knew she was going to get through it because in my quite time God said "I have a plan - I know what I'm doing." He is a wonderful God. Thank you for the update.
