also can i just say that i started this edit months before nwh came out so i had no idea their story would end like That... i repeat, all i know is pain.

I think that is one of the clues that will help MJ remember. I think she even has her drawing of Peter still on her wall at home, too. You can see it when Peter and she are talking on the phone. Genius MJ will put two and two together. There is even foreshadowing. MJ firmly tells Peter before he passionately kisses her good-bye, that she will, "Figure it out." She also has a look of deja vu on her face immediately after Peter leaves her coffee shop, with tears in his eyes.

Love that! Fun fact, Zendaya kept the necklace. I saw an interview she did with Tom where she mentioned she still has it, complete with Tom's fake blood still on it. He didn't even know she she had it lol. Wish I could remember what interview it was but I've watched so many over the last few days, they're all a blur now.

I think that eventually they will get back together down the line, but Peter may fall for someone new (Gwen ?) and date that person then just like in the comics, eventually end up with MJ again.

Like Spider-Man 5 towards the end of the movie he could be trying to make her remember or just talking to her or taking her on date. In Spider-Man 6 Tom’s last movie of the next trilogy could be him retiring as Spider-Man towards the end, him and MJ get married or just live happily while miles is introduced and Peter can be training him to be the next Spider-Man

The ending of No Way Home looked similar to the changed reality in the comic book One More Day where Peter and Mary Jane weren't husband and wife ( just strangers ). Then issues later they get back together again so maybe the same will happen with Peter and Michelle, although not in the next film since Peter did let go of her for a reason, so that her and Ned could be safe, never have to look over their shoulder everyone danger is nearby because of him.

I loved seeing the evolution of MJ as the movies continue, you see her be dark social out cast who has a crush, to more sociable to a confident young woman with friends a boyfriend happiness but then when the spell happens she is still confident like the effect peter had on her life didnt go away even though he did she is still this smart amazing young woman and got there because of Peter and Ned but even though they're gone they are still in her heart good acting Zendaya her and gwen are neck and neck for the best love interest

Peter & MJ should get back together in SpiderMan4. The scriptwriters did a great job of foreshadowing for that in NWH. They have genius MJ tell Peter that she'd "Figure It (their relationship and his being Spider Man) Out." The script also has a look of deja vu come across MJ's face as Peter takes his leave of her in the coffee shop, tears in his eyes because she does not seem to know him. This would be a great time to more fully develop MJ's character. They even mention her father and that he's met Peter.
