In my opinion with Myer and Lawrence JAX can go up from this point. Even though both haven't experienced the NFL level yet I believe Myer is one of those coaches that can adapt to any situation. Lawrence no doubt in my mind will be a good NFL QB.

Pick one QB T-Law. After that every other pick should just be Defense. They have franchise RB talented WRs and TE’s and a decent/semi decent O-line. Defense has some stand outs but they need alot to even it out.

I’m not sure I’ve witnessed such Hype over a Head Coach hire... It is Urban Meyer, Ohio States coach, who arguably get the highest TV ratings of any CFB team every year. Ok ok I get that! Clearly he’ll be a Headline in Jacksonville. We’ll see if he wins

I disagree, I think in my opinion that Urban Meyer will pick Justin Fields especially out performing Trevor Lawrence in a head on match. Also Justin had been implemented in the left over Offense from the Urban meyer era. So Justin Fields would be picked first in my mind.

Justin Fields has played 3 great defenses and 1 good defense. He lost in the first to Clemson and didn’t play really good. He played awful against Indiana. He threw 3 picks against Northwestern. And for the 1 good defense, he played amazing. That’s one good game

The medical-out Meyer played at Ohio State was because of OSU President Michael V. Drake throwing Meyer under the bus during the Zack and Courtney Smith domestic issues. Those were brought to light by former ESPN wanna-be reporter Brett McMurphy, whose primary source for his story was Courtney Smith's diary. Investigators with the Powell, Ohio police department asked the university where they could find Zack Smith regarding a protection order violation. The university, in asking Meyer where Zack Smith could be found, informed Meyer of the allegations regarding Smith. Drake, nonetheless, suspended Meyer for four games and made a public spectacle out of his handling of the matter for not following university protocol. Drake retired from Ohio State in 2020 and has accepted the position as President of the University of California.
