Fulton vs Lopez FULL FIGHT: December 8, 2017 - PBC on FS1

6 років томуUndeafeated Stephan Fulton battled Adam Lopez in a scheduled 8-round 123-pound bout on December 8, 2017, at Hialeah Park Racing & Casino in Miami, Florida. This fight was broadcast live on FS1 as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series.
Lopez came out in round one as the aggressor, using his power and applying pressure early on. Utilizing round two as his round to shine, Lopez staggered Fulton by way of a series of right hands before hearing the bell.
By round 3, Fulton used those first two rounds to divide and conquer while applying his jab, and continuous power ultimately starting his plan to slowly walk Lopez down.
After using the earlier rounds to adjust, Fulton brought the fight directly to Lopez in the final three rounds, causing his strength and willpower to slowly deteriorate as he was unable to recover.
Fulton seemingly gained strength and confidence as he closed in on Lopez during the final round and ended up going the full distance. In the end, the judges awarded Stephan Fulton a majority decision victory, improving his record to 12-0, 5KOs.

The adjustment made from round 2-3 is highly underrated. Added the jab back to his repitoire and switched the angles of his movement. Lopez cut the ring off the first 2 rounds, so the angles of his footwork changed which allowed him to dart laterally and out of Lopez’s reach. Lopez went from keeping him in certain spots to getting punched on in the 6th and 7th round with Fulton keeping his hands down. Beautiful boxing

スタイルの違いがどれだけ影響するか分かりませんが、確かにテクニック面ではロドリゲスやドネアが遥かに上回っていると思いますね。 ただその二人を2ラウンドで沈めるパワーの持ち主が井上なわけで。間違いなく7/25にSB界に、いや全世界のボクシング界にタイソン以来の衝撃が走ると思われます。

この試合を見る限りそこまで驚異的とは言えないかと感じます ロペス選手かなり良いと思いました。 フィゲロア戦は参考にならないがこの試合は参考になる。フルトンは動くけどハンドスピードは飛び抜けて速い訳ではない。あと意外と被弾数が多い。打たれ強い事は見て分かりますが、レバーブローも結構空いてましたね。ロペス選手が打ち終わったら同じ位置に居たので井上尚弥選手ならもう居ないだろうなと思いながら見てました。モロニー戦で相手のジャブにカウンターを合わせる井上が見逃すとは思えません。フルトンのパンチがどのぐらい威力あるかにもよりますがこの映像を見る限りはドネア程の強さは感じられませんでした。

@@aoki5532 さん わかりやすい分析と予想をありがとうございます。井上は高校時代からカザフスタンなどの選手とも五分に打ち合うなど技術的にも素晴らしいので、スタイルを選択してフルトンを崩していくと思います。御指摘のようにフルトンはよく被弾していますし、パンチ力もそれほどないように見えました。井上がロペスとスパーできたのは良かったですね。ナルバエス戦の時のように、階級を上げた井上が異様に強くなっている可能性もあります。蓋を開けてみれば井上の圧勝になるかも知れません。ただ、フルトンがバトラーのように守りに徹してしまうと、サイズが大きいフルトンですので判定まで行く可能性もありそうです。

フルトンは不必要に接近戦での打ち合いをすることがあるね。井上の左フックがあたりそうな気がする。また、接近戦での打ち終わりにロペスがもらうシーンがあるけど、接近戦でも井上のディフェンスは崩れることがないから、あのようなパンチはもらわない気がします。 この試合を見て思ったのは、井上というボクサーは常に真ん中に重心がある選手だということ。 少しまえがかりでも、少しうしろがかりでもない。 常に攻撃（カウンター）と防御双方をこなすことのできる万能型。 この試合でいうと、フルトンは若干うしろがかり、ロペスはまえがかりに見える。 フルトンのKO率が低い理由も明確に分かった。 基本打たれ強い選手ではないね。 常に打たれることを避けながらのパンチだから、見ていて恐怖心が芽生えるパンチではない。 KOがあるとしたら、序盤。 序盤すぎたら、どちらに転ぶとしても判定かなと思う。 （フルトンが中盤以降もったとして、打ち合いにくるとは到底思えないから） いづれにしても本当に井上vsフルトンは楽しみすぎる試合。待ちきれないｗ

同意。 アダロペはスパーでもかなりカウンターを貰っていた。 フルトンが好戦的なのは好機。 ロドリゲス戦のようなショートレンジのカウンターをもらう。 ただ、1Rで左を貰ってから、インファイトはせず逃げ回るような気もします。 どちらにせよ、踏み込みの速さ、バックステップのスピードに対応できないと思う。

I just watched the First 5 rounds...Lopez won 4 of them..with only round 4 going to Fulton. 😅The fifth round was very close, with Fulton landing good jabs at the end...the fight should have been a draw atleast.

I had Lopez winning R1,3,5,8 to win by 1. I wasn't impressed with Fulton at all here and while it's only the second fight of his I've seen I don't see any standout traits that will cause Inoue problems.

フルトンは単純にディフェンス重視で、スタミナをためて12ラウンド走り切るスタイル。 また、スピードは速くなく、パンチもない。 顎を髭でカモフラージュしているが、長い顎ではないから、口を叩くように狙うべきだな。 意外とディフェンスにもムラがあり、ボディと顔に散らしていけば、特にボディはよく当たると思う

Fulton has more speed than donaire, and as you can see from the leo and Figueroa fights, his conditioning can allow him to throw close to 1000 punches for 12 rounds without getting tired. I don’t see any way monster beats him. You better pray he never gets in there with cool boy

Lopez didn’t get gassed lol. Watch fultons movment in the 2nd round and then watch in the 3rd round. Fulton changed the angles to a more lateral based side to side movement. He also began to move behind his jab, Lopez cut the ring off in the 2nd, was no longer able to do that from those simple adjustments. Fulton landed some hard shots in tbe 3rd that also changed the trajectory of the fight.

フルトンは過大評価されてる様に思います 過去の試合の動画を見ても デイフェンスに結構隙があるし 顔面ボディー共に 相手の有効打を避けきれず受けてる場面多いし パンチパワーに関しても 一発で試合を決めてしまう程の威力があるパンチを持ってるとは感じません フットワークは軽いしスピードもありますが 特別優れてると思わないし 総合的に見ても超A級選手とは思えないので 井上選手が倒せる可能性はかなり高いと思います。仮にこの選手あたりに井上選手が苦戦、或いは破れる様なら 井上選手も超A級ではなかっと言わざるを得ませんし それは考えにくい事なので、私はフルントン程度の選手には井上選手がKOで圧勝すると確信しています。

Bro that was hard to score but I edged it out for Lopez good footwork and head movement Fulton just a basic fighter nothing special but on the other hand I saw more skills from Lopez . Stupid decision What the fuk is wrong with these judges. They prob saw a bloody nose and that prob sealed the deal for the judges dam. What a shame. What boxing needs is a.i technology to judge the fight that way there’s no questions asked but then again machines can fail so fuk . Not a win win

Yeh i saw the same also, during the 3rd was when he slowed down alot. Dude couldnt get any hits off like the 2nd round. If he had fought like he was in the 2nd round all the way until 8th then he wouldve won easily. Honestly dont see why people praise fulton so much, hes good but he doesnt win easily like most great boxers do. Like even floyd doesnt throw much punches but he wins convincingly and he still knocks boxers out

I gave Fulton the first 5 rounds. Lopez stole those last 3 Fulton ran out of gas the last 2 rounds
