Wow. This video was a whirlwind and made me feel for you so many times. I 100% relate to the feeling on failure and issues with adhd. I’m glad that you were able to get support from loved ones and didn’t give up. It’s great to hear that you’ve taken all those experiences and made a happy life for yourself. It’s also so commendable that you made the effort to reconnect with your mom. Sometimes relationships with parents can be rocky but they won’t be around forever. It can be hard to take a step back and view things from there perspective and meet them halfway. But at the end of the day, moments of rage, overwhelming feelings, and disagreements shouldn’t hold you back from seeing the value in your loved ones. Not many people are mature enough to do that. So happy to hear you’re in a better place.

Hi Jesse! Through your video on autism a while back I learned about special interests and although I am not on the autistic spectrum, I am a highly sensitive person. I already knew that there is some overlap between the two, such as getting overstimulated quickly and disliking change, but I found out through your video that I actually also experience bursts of special interests! My environment has regarded this as a negative thing in the past and I internalised this (why are you never playing with X that we bought you two months ago?!) but your video totally changed my perspective on this. I now embrace whatever my special interest is, knowing that it will last a while and then fade, and I’m always curious what my next special interest will be. Some interests I’ve been going through these past few months: Zelda lore, doing magic tricks, learning German… So fun! Thanks for putting yourself on the internet and sharing the more personal things too. I love watching your content and I am really excited for you that you get so much passion out of doing an iceberg video like this. Love from the Netherlands!💝
