Programmable smartwatch TTGO T-Watch (ESP32)

Рік томуThis is update to my last video. Someone commented that I should use TTGO T-display and try my new watch sketch on it. And here it is. TTGO T-Watch is programable smartwatch powered by ESP32 , it have 240x240 display, battery, vibration motor, speaker, AxisiSensor, RTC.. Perfect device for custom smartwatch. I am using Arduino IDE to program it.

Another great project. Not sure if it is available in this variant but the regular ESP32 has a small amount of memory that survives sleep/deep sleep. You could store your wake count there instead of writing to EEPROM (which is simulated with Flash). Thanks for sharing!

Nice ! Ha - "I forgot I had a couple" - like every hoarder you knew they would come in useful at some point ! :-) Is there a reference for using sprites ? the graphics smoothness performance is excellent.

Hello. Thanks for nice project, I have already uploaded the code to my TTGO T-Watch. The only thing I wonder is if there is a way to setup the time... I haven't seen such an option in the code..

It looks absolutely beautiful! But it also looks like it takes three seconds for the watch to wake up out of sleep? That would make it very impractical in daily use. Also does anyone know whether you can wake up the watch by different methods than the side button? Such as a screen tap?

I love my T-Watch but unfortunately you have to sleep the processor whenever you turn the screen off or the battery will be dead in hours. Makes bluetooth impractical. :(

Suppose there is a firmware that displays only time and date for 5 sec after button press, all other features turned off. How often you have to charge it?

Hi Volos How are you? I have a questiong about the T-Watch. Do you know if it's programable the crown button? I mean, I knnow I can control the short or long press but Is it possible to control the rotation of the crown or it's not interactive the rotation? Thank you so much 🙂.

My guess: their demo on the shop page is supposed to mimic the classic LCD displays, but doing it on the (color) TFT screen - haven't seen any of those with a monochrome screen yet...

Does anyone know what is causing the red circle to shake ever so slightly from a perfect round trajectory? Or am I just seeing things?

It's probably a small picture/sprite of a circle that is rendered from an exact pixel, instead of a circle that is drawn/rendered from the precise location it should be on the circle, which often would fall between pixels. Because the display is only 240x240 pixels, you're going to see the circle jump from pixel to pixel. This way of drawing is less demanding on the processor than rendering (and anti-aliasing) the circle each time.

@@VolosProjects Have the same problem. It is indeed in the config.h file. But still get the message: LilyGoWatch.h: No such file or directory How can you solve this? Thank you (Never had any problems with your code, but now I'm stuck ;-) )

@@KVEL...TGhere can be couple reasons for your problem. make sure that you .ini file is in the same folder as other .h files. Arduino ide sometimes make new folder with only .ini file in it. Another reason is that you didn not instaled ttgo t-watch library
