if coming from custom rom like awaken 4.3 A14, before flashing desired rom need to format data or after flashing?

Don't need to format data Just goto advance wipe and change data and cache to ext4 one by one before flashing And after flashing change them back to f2fs

Clean flash and use f2fs file system. Change data and cache to f2fs.

i'm now on project elixir rom, with pbrp recovery, with this rom i can't running whatsapp apps..it detected whatsapp app on this device is unofficially even i install it from playstore.. the main problem is..i can't install another rom like pixelOS on my realme 7.. my question is : if i want to install another rom like pixelOS on my realme 7 is i must do from original rom RUI 3.0 ? or there's any other ways to install pixelOS from PBRP recovery..? (i can't install PixelOS from PBRP stuck on fastboot without successfully reboot to animation boot).. 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

Use a custom recovery, goto install and select the ozip file and swipe Goto install again and select the vbmeta.img and tick vbmeta partition and swipe to flash Format data and reboot

I wish you luck bro but i think custom roms don't give better performance on realme 6. I tried arrow os, havoc os, cherish os,matrix,nusatara,rising os,pixel os. The only improvement you will get in terms of gaming is better bullet registration. Other than that all these roms i tested on my realme 6 have lower performance. Actually performance is almost same compared to stock rom but it's really stutterry and fps is nit stable no matter what kind of performance scripts or apps i tried. Custom roms can't handle 60 fps without stuttering even on tdm in pubg. Use stock rom for performance it's better but from every custom rom i tried the best one was evolution x android 13 version.
