The referee had to be the one to determine the game was over, not the crowd. He had to assert his dominance over everyone else. Truly a sigma moment.

If UNT managed to pull of that lateral play at the end I think it would be a top 10 ending in CFB history. Crazy game.

i think there were as many forward passes on that last play as there were laterals.

I'd like to know what was going through the head of the DB on Memphis' game-winning TD pass. He was in phase w/ the receiver, saw a floater coming down toward him, and instead of playing the ball, he tackled the receiver, which made no difference, b/c they were already in the end zone. You have to play that ball.

Watching UNTs defense is like seeing the aftermath of a horrific car accident on the highway. You wanna look away but you just have to see how bad it was

UNT almost pulled off a fantastic comeback but the coaches of UNT failed them! They wasted timeouts because they could not get the next play called after big plays in the second half! The defensive strategy was terrible. They did not protect the sidelines and no coverage in the back of the secondary when you know Memphis has to throw the football. One of the worst coaching performances I have ever seen. But the UNT players stepped up and nearly pulled this off. It was tough to watch! YOU MUST WIN HOMECOMING! Even if that is the only game you win each year!🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
