In this video I explain the different entries on the Iceberg chart about the Universe.

Yes, i will admit that a lot of the last entries are more about Quantum Mechanics than the universe / space.

Quantum immortality really says: "you're immortal until you're dead. But since you can't observe death, it's not a legitimate state to the observer, therefore, as long as you can perceive something, you're immortal; until you're not, which you'll never experience
@015under9
@015under9 2 роки тому
This confuses me like would that mean that the universe is only in our perspective, or do other beings have their own timeline? Does that mean that there’s impossibly old beings in my reality right now? And if I’m stuck in a reality where other people are dying then does that mean that after a certain time I’ll be stuck with everyone else around me dead? 😐
@gobblesnot
@gobblesnot 2 роки тому
@@015under9 it depends on which perspective you take. You being the sole perceiver of the universe (because you only know your own experiences), everything you see and know about the universe is from your own perspective in your own timeline. If you take the perspective of time, it's all one timeline flowing in a time stream. If you take the perspective of the universe, you're an ant, none of it matters. Essentially, pure entropy.

Quantum immortality reminds of this thought I’ve had as far back as I can remember. Ever since the thought of energy being basically infinite in one form or another carrying on through various ways and whatnot…if it really is, then there’s no end, to anything maybe. That always takes me to another thought, that for the universe to exist at all, it couldn’t have neither a beginning or end, maybe like energy if it is infinite in one form or another, because if it had a beginning, it could and likely would have an end and if there’s an end, why would it or how could it exist at all. Time right? Has to have something to do with time, what time really is, if it exists at all or if we can even eventually reach a level of understanding it and everything else we’d need to be able to learn and understand those big questions/answers like the ones posed that generate all these theories, thoughts and discussions…the unknown. The horrifying prospect of never being able to understand the world before our time ends in it…because of whatever time is…or maybe not, we’ll all find out one day regardless, when each of ours runs out. That’s exciting in a way, either it ends, or something else occurs. Seems like the odds of something else occurring, in the case of these thoughts and ideas, the possibility is great than there being…nothing. If you read this ramble, thanks for reading it, I’ve always wanted to get that out into words, if they make any sense lol.

@@MrGshock2 here’s another one, maybe we’re inside of a black hole so large we can’t quite comprehend the scale except when thinking that space is dark because that darkness enveloping our universe is the inside of the black hole itself, waiting for another kind of Big Bang or something when it finally dies and releases all of this matter within it…that or it is itself what lies beyond the reaches of observable space…a remnant of the Big Bang perhaps…something along these lines presented. The more time passes…the crazier the thoughts will get.

To prove quantum immortality you need to test it out yourself bc you need to be the 1x10^ -100% and only in that one universe you survived, quantum immortality would be proven. So if there are other observers in this kind of nuke experiment where the scientists could die as well. From the scientists perspective him and the test subjects are both immortal because the death of one would mean death of the other. But in the case of someone watching the cameras miles away from the test site there will be almost 100% certainty that after x amount of presses the scientist and test subject will die in this universe. and that's why it's really unlikely, that quantum immortality will ever be proven

On the Double Slit Experiment, the reason the particles behave differently when observed is simply a rendering issue. The scientists don’t have their physics render distance high enough so the Universe defaults to wave physics because they are less resource intensive to render than particle physics. Kind of like a LOD in games, how when you are far away from something in a game, the game will render that something with less polygons to save on computing resources. I’m not a scientist but I thought that was pretty obvious. 🤓🤓

you can compare absolutely everything in this universe to how a computer operates, ESPECIALLY HUMANS, which is super scary because we are also on the brink of creating a digital universe, so zooming out (digital universe theory) it would be literally a smaller donut, in a donut, in a bigger donut, and maybe be infinitive, with each bigger donut getting better and better, because of the size of the size of the donut increasing, but since its infinitive, it can either get to a constant rate of quality, or a linear rate of quality, like how screenshotting a screen shot over and over again would worsen the quality. and this is why i cant focus in class lmfao

Btw is not exactly that the timeline "splits" it's a little bit more complicated than that, the universe doesnt actually works like Avengers endgame or back to the future, it's more like there are theoretical countless, posibly infinite universes if the theory of the multiverse proves to be correct but only a limited number of ways the atoms in the universe can be organized, so what happens when you have an infinite number of something but only a limited number of combinations inside that something you may ask? Well what happens is that those combinations repeat themselves infinitely, so it's less "every time I make a diferent decition the timeline splits" and more like "there is an inifinite number of universes where every single event in that universe happened exactly the same way as in this universe we live in but in that universe i choose to wear red socks today instead of blue socks, apart from that everything else is identical"
