Whats wrong with him? Like his car is the same as Norris’s and Norris is looking light years ahead. Dont get me wrong Ric is my fav driver, so it just annoys me he is qualifying so badly.

I didn't really expect way too much, since he isn't completely there yet with the brakes. Austria has big braking zones, whereas Spain and France don't (and that's why he performed there so well).

Also look at how close the times were though. Very close he wasn’t so far off

What has Max done that's spectacular exactly. Drive the fastest car around a track. We've not seen him break records or pull out an unbelievable drive. It's a close fight but he has the car advantage.

Ever since 2017, and the double Ferrari tyre failure at Silverstone, there hasn't been a more fortunate driver than Hamilton.

Well bottas has a +3 penalty so max and hamiltion are near each other aswell as perez and bottas, so nobody has a teamate dis/advantage so that makes things interesting

He only needs to pass Norris, then he can pester Hamilton. In fact, once he passes Norris, he will be on the podium. Bottas' penalty hurts Merc alot.

Checo will probably do a soft-hard strategy and hence has to manage tires in the first stint, hoping for SC/VSC

Its just how well the set up and adaptations of the driver...Also the mistake's made. RB has a better back end while the Mercs still have the best front wing.
