In ny view, mourning is like illness; it varies. Even where protocol exists therefore, circumstances may vary. Moreover, the video suggesrs a longer period is observed by the Palace than you state, although it is still relatively brief all things considered.

Couldn’t agree more. They truly seem to have lived their lives together to the best of their abilities and made the most of it all the way to the end. I have always wondered though, it would be very interesting to know if she ever did have any other sweethearts or childhood crushes before she married him. For all the knowledge we have about her life growing up, that aspect always has seemed to be the most obscure. I guess that’s why the film ‘A Royal Night Out’ has always been so exciting to people since it came out, even if a lot of the events in it are fictionalised. Tehe

In fact, even with his lineage and standing at the time, his family was still a little apprehensive about him as it still wasn’t ‘that high’. So of course they had every right, including the nation to be concerned about him marrying a very complex and an orthodox person like Megan. It was an explosion waiting to happen and we all saw it, even before the wedding. It’s just that many of us didn’t want to say it out loud through fear of being unfairly judged on the wrong thing.
