Every time I watch this, I cry because we might never witness this version of Thiem again 😢

I wish we get to see this Thiem one more time in our lives. There have been very very very few players who have had the courage and boldness to stand up to The Big 3 and come out on top. I just miss him so much on the tour :(

Easily one of the best matches I’ve seen recently. Neither player gave up until the very end.

Some of those backhands were absolute rockets, and a couple of them were one after another in the same rally. Just crazy.

Thiem 2020 was the player closer to top3 level at the last few years

I hardly saw any unforced errors by both. One had to give his best in order to outplay the other in every set. A modern time classic!

I may be biased because I'm Austrian but I think Thiem is such a fantastic tennis player and athlete - it's a joy watching him on the court
