There are ways you can have a first person view setup like this go out several (~10) kilometers. It gets on the expensive side, and you might need a ham radio license for the amount of power youre transmitting, but its actually not too difficult, with most decent rc car transmitters there is what looks like an aux cable port on them, thats an access port for different modules, one you can use is a transmitter that will 1. Boost the range of the remote and 2. Change the frequency of the remote. With live fpv driving like in the video you have 2 seperate signals, one for controlling the car, and one for transmitting video so you can see where youre driving. 90% of rc car transmitters are 2.4Ghz, which is fine, the problem comes into play when you have a high power video feed coming in right next to it at 1.2 to 1.3Ghz, since its basically half the frequency of the 2.4ghz band, it can cause a lot of problems when the waves basically cross. So with the correct module and reciever for your rc car transmitter, you can change the output from 2.4Ghz, to something like 433Mhz, that will be completely different wavelength from the camera transmitter, and wont cause issues between systems. Its a lot of technical jargon TL:DR you can do it, just gotta make sure the signals are strong enough and wont interfere with each other.

On road cars easily lose traction. There's a reason 1/10 buggies have disproportionately large wheels compared to an actual size sand rail. Rc cars have significantly more torque and horsepower than their actual size counterparts due to different things, first being they're electric, second power to weight ratio (they don't have to haul any drivers or interior). Another reason you'll easily lose traction with an on road car is their lack of suspension, they really have no squat to absorb the torque of the motor.
