Train with me on my app doing my actual weekly program | 7-Day Free Trial | $8.99/mo 📲 www.myliftfitness.com/training-app ➡️ RDL’s are primarily for glutes, not the hamstrings. The hamstrings are targeted more directly with a Stiff Leg Deadlift. I will be making a tutorial on the SLDL soon. There are some very key differences beteeen them. The RDL is my absolute favorite movement for building the glutes. Make sure you use straps so that your grip doesn’t limit how much weight you’re able to hold. You don’t want weak link in the chain limiting the amount of weight you can expose your glutes to. I hope this helps you.

Super important! Don’t want sensation to dictate what you do necessarily. I mean, the weight isn’t moving itself! If the bar moves and the form is correct, the glutes are the primary mover!

What if instead of the glutes I feel it on my low back? I really focus on my form but no matter what I feel it on my low back
@yulana990
@yulana990 10 місяців тому
@@emanuelgalvani9893A good tip is to try an RDL in the mirror and push your hips back as you go down for an RDL. Your back should remain straight and static, so if you go too far down with your RDL you usually end up arching your back because your hips cant go any further. This means for some people depending on their hip range, length or their arms and legs, they can go further down the leg vs. Less far. Checking in a mirror to make sure your back remain straight, and making sure not to go further sown then necessary should prevent back pain. Lower back pain usually means you are going too far with your RDL without noticing.
