I have the same set up ultegra and garmin 1000. I followed it exactly and it works great. The only thing I did different is run my d-fly unit directly inline with my seat post battery. Thanks for explaining it so clearly.

Great video! Do you know if it is possible to make one of two shift buttons on the left side to shift both up and down on the front derailleur? Fx if you're in the big ring it shifts to the small, and the other way around

Garmin Edge Explore does not have Di2 connection capabilities. I've been trying to get them to do an update for that head unit but I don't know if that is going to happen.

Are you able to keep the “hidden buttons” as extra shifting buttons and serve no purpose for the Garmin? I’m only interested on seeing the data from it (gears,batt lvl, etc) not interested in having the buttons change the Garmin page.

I purchased a bike with the new 8070 and am trying to sync it to my phone and or Garmin Edge 1000. However, I can't get the unit in bluetooth mode. I have updated the unit via e-tube project for Windows hardwired. Any thoughts or suggestion? Many thanks
