I'm surprised it's "only" 5.5% nerf! Hopefully there's not more nerfs coming in the near future

I took a break before 10.07 dropped and came back this week and had a lot of fun with the Chain Heal build. Glad they didn't change that.

Y, but this 10.0.7 healing is reason why Rshams got invite to Mythic raid progress. Bcs class without raid buff/pi/innerv/cr/etc. is not necessary. And this 10.0.7 healing was ticket to Mythic raid. Y, rsham got tidebringer and it is cool talent bcs chain have more than 30yards range every 8 sec and it is cool on this ultra big platforms and shaman rlly needed this change. I hope you are right and this nerf we will not feel or we can go back to superpowerultramega Evoker again :D Still dont understand why shaman didn´t get totems for raid buff like Strength of Earth Totem / Grace of Air Totem / etc... bcs it could be ticket for mythic raid progress too.

As you said in the video, if you were doing 100k hps before then now you’ll be doing 94.5k isn’t entirely correct. That would be assuming no over healing. Let’s say that you go to use a healing wave on someone and it used to hit for 100k but now only hits for 94.5k. You’d only notice the change if the person had more than 94.5k missing health. If the person had 80k missing health then you’re going to over heal them either way and your effective healing is the same. I still think the change will make hps numbers slightly lower but I’d probably only expect a 2 or 3% drop in real hps numbers. Depending on the situation you may not really be able to detect the difference at all. Just as sometimes you heal more from pull to pull with things like mastery and crits playing a role in how it all shakes out. I think the change is overall fine and would have rather them just buffed the other classes up a little. Shaman is not the leader by a mile like evoker was in 10.0. Most of the healers were perfectly competitive. I think there is much more to be said about perception of something rather than the reality. A 80 percentile holy paladin will always beat a 50th shaman. It’s much more about the player’s ability than the class.

i cancelled my sub today for the first time in 5 years. I play resto but taking away 5.5% while we still cant beat holy/druid/hpal/evoker is just nuts

Just buff other healers, stop nerfing shits. If I can’t get big numbers when casting spells, there is no points choosing this class. Also 100k hps and 94.5k hps are big differences. The 8% buff is compensated because they change swirling currents and delete focused insight.

I can get the reasoning behind the nerf, but why is blizzard shoving Evokers into everyone's face. I get it it's a new class should be op bla bla. Don't make other classes suffer. Paladin is non existent and mw is a class aswell. Better buff everyone than nerf what is popular and we were strong for like 2 weeks.

I hate Blizzard for that. We've been good for 2 weeks and we're already being nerfed. Restro Druids have been OP for decades and nothing is coming. And those stupid Evoker healers... I HATE Blizzard. And any restro shaman who likes this nerf is a traitor. Not everyone is a high-end player
