Great story and the fart at 8:01 made it even more suspenseful!

The issue with experiences like this is that once you have one it kind of ruins you for the rest of your life. You’re constantly stuck questioning yourself looking for answers and never having anybody that you can fully confide in about it. I was 5 years old when I had something happen and 35 years later I’m still looking for answer while keeping to myself. It changed how I looked at EVERYTHING and left me with too many questions.

These old timers can tell a story. Really interesting to hear this experience. Do more of these. I think you could make a channel based on these excellent campfire tales

I believe this guy. The way he tells the story is like re living the memory for him, you can see it in his eyes, hear it in his voice. Old timer either can lie and spin a good yarn or this really happened. Makes me want to join the fire and grab a brew n listen.

I’m from Western Africa, and as kid I used to go hunting with my Dad in deep forest out of civilization. One night out hunting about to go home, I heard a sound which gave me goosebumps, the sound was something 10x bigger bro I folded rush back to where we parked our scooters and dipped 😂

One of the best stories I've heard. These ole timers know what they saw. Eye witness testimony can get someone convicted in a court of law but people are considered crazy for tellin what they saw when it comes to this subjuct.

8:01 never fails, somebody tells a good story and some guy has to fart....

The time frame on this true story was late summer early fall of 1972. This reminds me of sittin around a campfire with my Uncle's..it wouldn't be booger talk but s ever now and then they'd be huddled together talking and they sure nuff looked serious. My favorite back then and I'm talking about the early to mid 1960's was when we'd go quail huntin Only thing that pestered me was I watched a .mountain lion workin the same side of a mountain as me. Then camping and fishing on a goog size lake I'd say was 100 to 150 yards from the house. Great Unk had passed and none of moved into the house. Now place had great pasture for steers another was a milk cow smaller pasture. I unlocked a gate pulled on down to the dam , another cousin my age was coming up the mountain soon as he took his girlfriend home. I glanced at the house and saw a light I thought alright Cuz is here but he never drove around the house to get where I was at. That dadburn light was moving all over the inside of the house..it looked like the dill color of an old oil lamp. Cuz finally got there I told him what I'd been seeing thats when he said aint nobody been in there for 5 or 6 years since we went in to get some rifles shotguns and a few pistols. Our Uncles and his dad told us we should move there after doing a little work to it. We tended deer food plots and set up stands for deer season. We camped on the dam again been fishin a while when I heard "hey cuz" that the ligjt you seen last night I looked and sure as hell there it was. I said let's catch whoever's in there we both put twe handguns in our belt one had a scatter gun the other a rifle. We started walking up to the house that light was still going like room to room. Outside padlocks were on the doors so I opened em and went in back he was coming thru front door same time..we went in every room , Cuz pointed up to the attic nothing up there either..I remembered the root cellar he went out to the outside entrance I went down the steps off the kitchen tbis last place to hide. I waited until I heard him unlock the chain and pulled the hatch door up,,,again not a soul..thats when I noticed something and told Cuz lets go outside. Outside he said wonder how they got out I said Cuz did you notice something weird in there he replied we was near bout raised up here nothing strange or different in there. I asked him wasn't we the last two in there when we fetched the guns...he gave me a funny look and said yep got gate keys all the keys get in .. I told him bubba we knocked down big thick cobwebs in every door and window. I don't know who was shakier him or me. Cuz saying we watched em go everywhere inside I said bubba we watched a light roam all over but did you ever see who was toting that oil lamp and did you smell where any oil burned off a wick..he walked backwards to our fishin spot. No more than a month went by and iour kin folks offered us the land and Great Unks old house wanting us to live where we were raised because just about all our older cousins either never returned after college or Vietnam. Never figured out what that light was we pulled camping trailers up there and brought the house back to good shape only saw it one more time while we fixed it up again got well armed searched again NOTHING..has anyone seen this phenomenon before or know what it was ?

I was hunting about 35 miles east of the Wichita mountains in southwest Oklahoma in 1965, with my cousin and another man, and we had about three hound dogs. Something began following us, and we got very worried, we thought later it might have been a big cat, mountain lion or something bigger. I’ve always wondered why something so big that we could hear a far off would be following us.

This is beyond gorgeous-looking & sounding! I really feel like I am sitting around the fire and can feel the radiant heat and even the occasional spark. Bravo!

This story is almost exactly the same as those told by a multigeneration family in Orange County, N Y.. I haven't heard of anything since the 1990's but sightings and encounters happened along the defunct Erie R.R. right of way from Greycourt and Maybrook, N.Y..

The reason im so skeptical about the existence of bigfoot is because at this point in time with everyone on this planet owning a cellphone there should be more than a few clear, good quality, pics or film footage, and not these old 70's looking pics or these false modern day pics. I Love Squatchy. I've seen different looking ones where I go. They don't bother me. They know I respect them. I think a lot of them just don't like certain people and don't trust certain people. That's just what it seems like.

Did y'all hear that sasquatch at 8:01, may have been a barking spider- not sure. I've spent most of my 50 something years in the woods of north Alabama- thank God I've never seen or heard anything like this though. I would never go back in the woods again- that would be hell. I live to fish, hike, kayak, camp, etc- it's all I do. I would be very angry I think if some creature took that from me- but at the same time terrified to go. Because if bigfoot is real- then what's around the next corner? You don't really know- the door is wide open then.

Good story, but I don't really believe it. I do believe in sasquatch, but not the story. Why bother putting the rock in the middle of the trail? It's not like it was a very big rock. Getting out of the boat because they peed their pants and needed a cover story because they were more embarrased than scared? That doesn't sound genuine.
