He fought a lot of great fighters and found a way to beat them all. Facts. But for pride and business reasons he fought a lot of guys before or after their prime, and there are a lot of guys he didn't fight at all. Could he have beaten them? Probably. But he didn't make the fights. He will go down in history as a GOAT businessman and a GOAT defensive fighter but not a GOAT boxer; look at all the greats, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, etc. They all have losses -- that's because they they weren't afraid to risk the record in pursuit of greatness.
