Although I've thought for a while now that Rafa and Novak will both overtake Roger's Grand Slam tally - almost unthinkable / impossible a couple of years ago - I still think Roger is, and will remain, the greatest all round player ever. Most overall wins. Most overall titles. Longest weeks at No. 1. On most and varied surfaces and at such consistency. And a range of outrageous skills, pioneering tactics, awareness, court coverage, shots and angles that only one other player I've ever seen in 40+ years of watching tennis has ever matched or exceeded, and then sadly oh so briefly, and that player was David Nalbandian. The only player I've ever seen who actually toyed with Federer at his peak.
