Well done to the lovely young men who carried their Queen and lifted her high. Something that is bittersweet for them and they will never ever forget. Apart from the obvious grief and mixed emotions etc this must have been very difficult as the coffin is lead lined. ......and our gratitude to all the men who will stand guard of honour over Our Late Beloved Queen, it is an honour for them but also heavy duty.......thank you all, from everyone who loves Our Beloved Queen.

Dear Lady C I felt gutted when the announcement was made that the Queen is dead after watching all morning with my husband. My husband served in the Royal Air Force for many years. I burst into tears I felt as though I had lost my grandmother. She has been the Queen all my life (68 yrs) she served us with love and was dedicated and dutiful to her people and we loved her back. As a Canadian I have watched the last two years unfold with horror that two people could treat an elderly lady, who is our dear Queen with such hate one of them being her grandson. Not only did he disrespect his grandmother but she was his Commander In Chief. Seeing them at the this time with the family makes me sick because they don’t belong there. God does not sleep. It was beautiful to see that rainbow in the sky I told my husband “See This is a sign someone good is going home” God is saying well done my good and faithful servant.Please pass on my condolences from me and my family to King Charles 111, Prince And Princess of Wales William and Catherine,Princess Ann (she has been amazing) and the rest of the family. We mourn with you and are sending prayers and love to you. Rest In Peace dear Queen you have served us well and now you are resting in the arms of God.

I hope the more elderly members of the RF are taking time to rest from their labor of love and that the parents of young children have been able to cuddle them and comfort them.

Well they were everything and then of both a Royal and their Mom's children. They are all incredible and so was The Queen. I saw the Queen Consorts face as she turned to her Charles, and I saw her sorrow. We go to funerals for us really. We must have these ceremonies of remembrance and farewells or we would go mad. I feel like we are seeing the Royals in their private grief, and I thought I'd never see that. Yet, they all loved The Queen in a way only children love their Mom's. I think in this one instance it's OK, cause we the public also are grieving for her passing. It's like we all have the same sorrow.

The family must be exhausted already and several more days and events to go... They must be longing for the moment when the formalities are over and they can go have a cup of tea ( or something stronger) and a good lie down and get on with their grieving - in private!
