Eighteen year-old Ruben Villa is one of the most exciting amateur Boxing prospects in America. The teenage Bantamweight sensation has over 135 victories to his name and has won countless national titles. To find out more about the youngster who is being tipped to take next year's Olympics by storm, Trans World Sport travelled to Salinas, in California, where Ruben lives and trains.

Wow I'm really impress with this kid. He is really good as well. I hope he will win the Gold Medal for the U.S. team in his weight class. Awesome hands speed and such nice and humble kid. Can't wait to see him go pro.

One of my favorite fighters in the amateur .. Growing up on the east coast Philadelphia Pa. Traveling since 6 years old to California to compete in desert showdown and many more shows throughout California.I always new Ruben would be something special for boxing period . Well loved and respected in the Philly gyms.
