Love this phone but to buy officially in Aus to acquire full warranty support from Xiaomi it's $900 & no charger or case in the box, just phone & USB-C cable only like Samsung ❌ Add these missing elements & it turns into a $1k device & only a few hundred shy of flagship territory. This is crazy expensive & not worth it for a Redmi IMO.

Nice review. i am much concern with the video stabilization.

Having slightly older VIVO OLED cheaper model.. can say 120hz will be awesome for general usage.. much smoother image.. My 60hz OLED is nice but not very fluid.. USB-C charging is a biggy! mine doesn't so i had to buy a powerbank with a wall outlet... This with an Anker battery with USB C charging much more compact and convenient. My other gripe was the battery life... not the greatest so it being easy to charge was needed. I was impressed by my Ryzen 5500U so anything above i reckon is pretty damn good. Will have to take a closer look at this one, it would be a nice upgrade.

I'm afraid that the whole can't benchmark because it is a prototype argument falls flat on it's face because being a prototype, anything and everything is subject to modification, therefore, using the proposed argument, makes any mention or demonstration of any feature rather null and void.

Downward firing speakers rely heavily on solid surface to project sound. If you place the laptop on a bed, or, on your lap, sound quality will drop drastically. Keep this in mind if you want to do a proper 'sound test'.

3 years later i feel mixed bout this dope Ass phone but being poorly put together, MUI just became an absolute heaven for modders because its unstable, HOT, battery now last bout as good as a now week Galaxy S10e in most cases cuz Standby is still good :) running AOSP on it makes the charging super slow you loose a lot of the greatnes on the camera with its famous Focusfail its a total mess of a phone bro :/ Since its the 3th Xiaomi phone from a total of 4, it is for SURE, my last Xiaomi phone till they change like 90% Realme maybe or Vivo/OnePlus seems like the next dopeness i gotta checkout after comming from Sasmung pretty much from the getgo 😘
