This scene was so bad. You can see that it's all CGI, the stunt work looks poorly executed (you can tell it's fake) and the cinematography is butchered with many edits, shakey camera and angled shots. There's TWENTY CUTS in 60 seconds.

The only way you could notice the CGI is when people like you actually take the time to study every single detail, which us normal humans are fine without. The cinematography is perfectly normal. Shakey shots are what directors do sometimes, and all the angles were perfect. There Weren’t too many cuts to the point where I’m having a seizure just from watching. Otherwise would you rather there just be one shot of the whole building that doesn’t move the whole time they’re fighting??

In Mission Impossible, Tom Cruise actually climbed the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, held onto a military jet in actual flight, piloted a helicopter, and did many other amazing stunts. Meanwhile, Simu Liu is playing on monkey bars with a green screen background, safely on set. Lol. And the CGI is videogame quality. It's obvious. Watch it again!!! Lol. When you have TWENTY CUTS in 60 seconds, that is definitely a butchered action scene. It's 3 seconds per take. Why do they do it? To hide the flaws in performance by the actors and stunt team. The director just has them perform mini-stunts a few times and they just cut and stitch together the scenes that they like. Why do directors make the camera move, wobble, change angle, etc? One reason is to visually confuse the audience just enough that they can't notice that lackluster stuntwork and execution. It's the Jason Bourne effect. Maybe you need glasses to see the bad CGI and butchered action cinematography? Do you think this is great action cinematography? Lol
