Admit it Scotty, you do the videos for the aerobic exercise. All that arm waving is actually good for you. I’m in the UK and you’re the only car channel in the USA I trust. Harry’s Garage in the UK is good, but he’s mostly about luxury cars, though he does bikes too. Keep doing what you do bro.

I went from knowing nothing when i got my license at 25 to being fairly good at car repairs thanks to Scotty! Never had to bring the two vehicles i own/ed into a so called real mechanics shop and i am 36 now(First car was a 95 altima 18 years old at the time). I have done(On my 2010 subaru non cvt) rad,alternator,drivebelt,drop trans pan and filter, control arms,wheel bearing, steering knucle,sway bar links and bushings,outer tie rods, diff oil,trans cool lines, and more i can't remember. UKposts and a haynes manual($1200 in tools so far also) will save you so so so much money thank you again Scotty Kilmer!

I'm 71 years old and I've run my own shop here in the UK for 27 years. My secret for survival has been to look after my customers in the good old fashioned way. I'm not the cheapest, but I offer plenty of friendly advice, fairness and courtesy and they have kept on coming back. Carry on the great work, I don't like seeing anyone ripped off either.

In a country that's been taken over by crooks, left, right and center, you may be one of the last honest men who isn't trying to trick someone out of their money. That alone makes you a National Treasure. I'm your age, and remember when the fix wasn't in so completely. Thanks for being there and helping. I'm no mechanic but have worked on cars for fifty two years. By the way, I finally had my valves looked at in my 2007 Honda Accord (4 cylinder). All the exhaust gaps were still spec, but the intake side gaps needed to be tightened up a little. Not bad for 349,000 miles. .

@abqmal > I'm no mechanic but have worked on cars for fifty two years. Ditto - sort of. I was working on cars 52 years ago, and would and could do pretty much anything apart from structural welding. I remember when you'd open the bonnet of a car and see 2 wires running to the engine, and when you looked down you could see the ground. Fell out of the habit of DIY when for decades I had company cars, and now I'm too old and creaky to want to lie on concrete with spanners in my hand. Plus the cars have got too complicated to work on. I don't have a "classic" car, and for instance with my current drive the *EASIEST* way to replace a headlamp is to jack it up, remove the wheel, remove the mudshield from inside the wheel arch and have at it from the rear. But then I remember my Dad trying to fix a dropped drivers door hinge on his 1950s Sunbeam Talbot, and think that in some ways it was ever thus...

Scotty, I just want to comment about how enjoy enjoy your videos. I just want to ask you about a speedometer and RPM gauge issue on my 1994 ES 300. It runs like a clock shifts like a clock drives like a dream just love the car, but, the needles on the speedometer and RPM gauge no longer show red they're black so it's difficult at best to read those two gauges. Any suggestions Scotty??

My favorite vid is about the AT-205! I spray that on all my suspension components on my vehicles on every oil change and cars are noise free and bushings are good! See you in the future!

I often check out your videos, Scotty. I'm 72 ... my son is 32 ... and we both get a kick out of how you express things. Someone told me years ago if my hands were tied, I couldn't talk. I don't know if anyone ever said that to you. Many people have taken you into their heart, Scotty. God bless you always.
