I would love to see somebody bring Scotty a Chrysler TC by Maserati. Assuming you can even find one now. A friend of mine had the catalytic converter go out on his car so he just cut the thing off and kept driving it. We live in Kentucky so there's no inspections.

Why Scotty is so harsh on cruze? The one he tested, looks like the low end cruze, 1.8L non torbo engine, with 10 year, 200,000 miles and still runs well. I would say it is as good as Toyota. I have a 2012, cruze, eco trim, with a 1.4L torbo engine, 6 speed manual transmission. I paid $17,500 in 2012. The highway mpg is 42, i am in texas, i often get 50 plus mpg. Now my car has 76k miles and still runs strong. Anyway, i think Scotty is very unfair to the cruze.😢

My mother had nothing but trouble with her 2014 Chevy Cruze, which she had bought from her sister when she fell ill. Very low mileage (88,000kms or 54,680 miles) and she drove it less than 10,000kms per year as she was 82 years old. Sold it and now happily drives a Honda Civic.

Expensive junk. Money dump. Money pit. WORSE. Don't even consider getting the gimmicks on wheels as as a park forever home. It'll malfunction, rot, leak, and fall apart insude 12 months.

I generally don’t like “jiffylube” places, used to do these myself, unless our mechanic was handy at right time for other issues. But then less able and use one down the road. Amazingly honest. Valvolene. Took my cars and my mom’s. Got confused about when mom’s needed work (she almost never drove at that point, very low mileage). The other year I brought the Lincoln in for regular oil change. They started, then told me it didn’t need it - oil was too fresh and full. Been very loyal to them since. I’d still do it myself if my physical health allows it, but likely not for a while.

I have a 2017 Cruze with 52K miles. I brought it with 36K miles. It’s not the vehicle I wanted but I’m being thankful for what my parents gave me. So far no issues.

Screw the EVs We are not ready yet and I question if we will ever be in the near future. The gas engine is not dead and it won’t be any time soon.
