​@corgifanclub6532 basically replaced everyone in upper management that totally fumbled Halo's legacy with a new team. In the short time the new team was working on Infinite, we just had quality of life and long awaited features flying out the door when prior to that we had to wait ages just to get a "sorry, we not doing it"

It truly has not. It was a goal post shift that started when they realized Forge wasn't getting attention. Now that it's here, they can't goal post change the reasoning to why people don't want to play social forge games anymore, which means 343 can focus on adding important things to Halo Infinite...like the actual updates to the FPS.

They also wanted the micro transactions and live service parts of the game more than anyone at 343 did. After the rest were fired the game has been killing it and it’s developers deserve the credit. They have the freedom to put their ideas in the game and it has been so content rich since.

If you still have to pay for this shit, it's not ever going to turn around.

To the ppl hating on it: compared to what it was at launch, this is phenomenal. I mean we didn’t get almost any new maps, no guns or equipment at all, and only got new modes for events. That’s it. Now we got so many new maps, a new gun, 2 new equipments, and more guns soon, maybe even with this season. The game is going way uphill, there’s a reason why the player base is bigger rn. I don’t know the exact numbers, but it climbed *ALOT* on Steam’s charts

If you don't realize the difference in the imbalance of registration, then you aren't good enough to realize that it's not acceptable. If it was optional, I would play it again. Until then, I'm staying on MCC. It shouldn't be a forced subjugation of pay to perform.

@bamboozle508 I had played infinite multi-player and hadn't really encountered much issues with unfairness in terms of crossplay. There was no issue that affected my experience. Usually, I was at the top of the podium, though there would be times when I was in the middle. This was all due to my skills and experience. I will admit that I am a console player and I haven't played pc, so I don't really know both sides of this problem, but for me, I had been having fun with infinite multi-player especially in infection.

I just dont get why they always have to "turn things around" A poor release causes too much dmg to a franchise, they have to stop doing that

No, most people haven't. Most people didn't care. A very small goal post was shifted a year ago to claim "Forge is irrelevant without forgeable ai", and 343 latched onto that in order to not let it actually get that far. Wait until almost no one uses it and it becomes another irrelevant feature added into Halo Infinite that'll be an entire waste of resources...like custom games browser.

Well I can't play it, I accidentally killed my ttv teammate with a ghost in heavies and everyone of my teammates were with this kid and he made everyone report me and his chat and now I'm banned for a month. This is just pathetic and gross. Literally an accident. Yeah I'm done with this infinite community. I even said sorry, but nope. I can't play halo for a month because a kid walked in front of me as I was trying to splatter the other team. Apparently that's a unsporting conduct. It's not worth playing. Yup, Infinite is in a really good state right now content and gameplay wise. Imagine if it had released in the current state, even if it's still only 80% finished in terms of content it still would have been massive globally and could have potentially kept a big portion of it's playerbase. You never know, it might turn around (fingers crossed)

They keep acting like something is better, but the game still runs like trash, especially on Xbox. There isn't even an option to get out of cross play. You can have the best modes ever, but at the end of the day, the platform imbalance is unacceptable and if you don't notice the difference, quite frankly those players aren't good even to actually see the difference in registration performance. That's why the majority of Xbox players quit. Punished for not being able to afford a PC

It isn't massive. It actually is there to remove the burden of arbitrary "career progression" without removing it entirely, since the system was designed not to integrate with ranked progression...which was where Halo was always geared toward before 2010.

It’s already fun bro at least try it when the new season comes out there’s a mixed playlist featuring classics like Valhalla and waterworks and other OHG maps that look AND play really well in infinite.

@@poopyfartboi I played Halo Infinite yesterday. I absolutely hate the entire PvP side of the game. Doesn’t feel like a Halo game. I get spawn killed 3+ times in a row, the respawn time is a pain (8-10 seconds is *way* too long), the sandbox balancing is virtually zero, etc. The game is still a failure in my opinion.

Nah, player count definitely indicates Halo is dead. It could still be come back. But Infinite will not be that reason. They need to quit resetting everything they learn with the every new game. The next game should LAUNCH with all these modes and features. Not slowly add them over almost 3 years
