So Oklahoma was viewed the better team before they played so they received the "title". They just viewed bowls differently than they do now. And I'm a UK fan. Pretty sure we still claim it though.

@Jeff -66offense sells tickets and defense wins championship. Alabama needs to tackle better and there is plenty of room for improvement on offense. Coach Saban will make certain that those things happen. Too bad for Georgia the the games last more than 55 minutes.

@@markdaniel8740 I'm an Alabama guy since the Bear Bryant days. But Georgia's defense looks eerily like the Clemson defense that we played against in the 2018 championship game. No one, including us, should expect to dominate that defense. That doesn't mean Alabama can't win that game, I think we can. I hope that Saban keeps his players focused on the next game but I hope that he and his staff (not the players) are putting the appropriate amount of time into planning for further down the road. One good game where they almost beat Bama with a come from behind at home mind you isn't enough to give them that much credit. Florida still has a date with GA and that will be lopsided as hell to. Kentucky has a bit of a gauntlet left to go through, GA, at GA where they will probably get the AR treatment if not worse for starters.

I can't wait for the re-boot of this with GA and KY in the principle's office together, asking KY why GA has a black eye. One of the top offenses in the country barely broke the plane for their only touchdown of the game in Lexington, while our offense strolled into the end zone twice, and added another one on special teams. Then they stopped FL on 8 or 9 straight plays in the redzone to win the game. Bama couldn't even stop them like that. Its gonna be hard for GA to bully a defense full of future NFL players. But hey, maybe they'll get to play their backup QB after the starter gets tired of taking hits.
