I love the stereotypical cheesy Northerner/Midwesterner stuff. The public access show is so Wayne's World; the accent/dialect is straight out of Fargo; and the Polish last names are dead-on-the-money.

This is exactly how I see Big 10 fans. The guys from the saturday night live skit with Da Bears. The thick mustache, the accent. We have begun to get covered up during the summer with folks from Illinois, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan in Gulf Shores. It's fun to watch them around the beach. Grilling their "brats", getting familiar with the gulf sand, the lack of Italian food . They seem like good people but we see them as different as they see us. Watch someone from Illinois trying a dozen raw on the half shell for the first time. LOL.. We had a family from Oak Park, IL stay next to us a couple years ago. Super nice family. We got together one night and I grilled tuna, oysters and scallops and fried red snapper. I even fried up some fresh squash and okra from the local stand. Then caught and boiled some blue crab. Unfamilar territory for them They pulled out Bud and I said no, you need this 30A. We listened to Jimmy Buffet, 38 Special and the Allman Brothers. Again, sort of unfamiliar with it but they were cool. Did some whiskey shots. I told them when in Rome....anyway they had a great time and had I had a couple more weeks, they'd have been indistinguishable from the usual southerners...other than the "lets gu to da seafood shap and get some talaaapia and find some saaasage".

Next year with Peyton as the QB, what we’re saying is that an Outback Bowl still could be on the table
