I had a pair of 20 dollar Koss headphones, which were wired, about 12 years ago, and they were DEFINITELY audiophile quality. Oh...wait... you're full of shit.

Sennheiser is known for its superior sound quality. If you just want sound quality, they're definitely at the top.

Yes and no. It depends on what you want the earbuds for. Typically, ambient mode is for people who want to wear both earbuds at all times and still hear the world around them. That is what ambient mode was designed for. However, you don't necessarily need it. You can still leave one earbud out and be able to hear the world around you. Ambient mode doesn't matter to me. For me, if I have both earbuds in, that means I want to block the outside world. I bought these earbuds for the sound. I listen to music when I'm working on my vehicles or any other project I have. I use loud equipment that I want to block out so, I have no use for ambient mode. I also got these for half the price on one of Sennheiser's deals. I can say I would have paid $200 for these hands down. The mic sucks, most people say I sound robotic. But I didn't buy these for the mic. If using your earbuds for anything and everything you do, then these earbuds are not for you.

same problem here; I select the aptx codec on both my Galaxy Tab S7 and my Galaxy S10e, and it still struggles to keep up with some apps, especially when it comes to mobile gaming (though that is a high bar to clear even now for wireless buds). Latency is still an issue with these buds unfortunately.

There is nothing more at present I would agree more to. Sony's features are so damn awesome, but I didnt think of buying an IEM or a headphone for that. I just want built quality, comfort and sound quality. Hi5.

@@chocolatewhale3656 Of course it will have decent sound, but to my ears they are overly compressed with poor detail retrieval. They sound unnatural to me IMHO. Every BTNC can sound somewhat strange due to the continued DSP processing. Only the pxc550 in usb mode sound natural and good to me ( in this mode they sound similar to hd6XX with limitations of a closed back)

It's actually just IP. The rating is two numbers one for dust and one for water. When there is an x it means there is no dust rating.

Momentum True Wireless 2 don't have this battery drain issue anymore. RF connection is very good.

I have momentum 1 and battery is just doong fine actually. Not great but not that bad either. Dont have drop out issues.

@@fixedshot you're lucky. I live in a city with lots of trams. Whenever i would go on walks and wait at the crossing, i would get drop outs. Something about all the interference from the traffic light pole and street cameras and tram wires. The buds worked fine when i was at home, in the office or at the gym.

I don't think sennheiser needs to copy anything from anywhere else . they are pretty damn good compared to Sony at sound quality.

Their no random letters, those letters mean something.

"CX" has always referred to Sennheiser's line of earbuds, and the numbering is usually pretty straightforward (CX 100, 150, 300, 350 and 400 being the most recent ones, for example)
