The sound quality is unbelievably clean in both earbuds and the pricing is appropriate. In fact, I thing the CX is one of the best TWS earbuds under $150 and $200 range.

@@NewStuffTV1 the treble peaks on these are just coupler effect like all iems. it breaks instrument seperation a little bit. Just try comply foam and up the 15khz treble from spotify eq little bit . You gonna get far more clarity and instrument seperation without resonances. foam decreasing volume but increasing clarity. Sony xm4 didnt have those peaks because of foam tips. But sony is bad anyway narrow soundstage and less clarity. Sennies got some monitor type of drivers bro thing is amazing. was buying all the time but after momentum 2 tws never bought anything. Because after sennheisers ,every fucking tws sounds like SHIT.

I get what you mean about the XM4's, I took them back, just didn't cut it for me. Hey, you let us know about the Skullcandy Crushers way back, so I trust your reviews. I actually just got the MTW2 few weeks ago (decided to pull the trigger because of the awesome deal) and I'm pretty happy with it. Crisp and clear sound with a great sound stage. Good thing that it also fits my ear well and comfortably.

I'm going with cx 400 ii p with a wire . They sound better than these for an 8th of the price . I found the wired headphones as cheaper now as wireless is in vogue. I remember the wired inner 600 range and 400s where 3 to 4 times the price. Meaning wired headphones are better than they once were, but the price is a third just because ofwireless . It's great for me as I'm getting a better sounding product for 20ish pound than the 100 plus wireless as shown.

Great video man. I decided to go with XM4, since they are more comfortable, you can use them independently, they have better battery life and wireless charging. As for sound quality. They are OK. I also have Audeze iSine20 for when sound quality is important.

Great Review my man, question for you. How do these compare to the Between Status Pros? I don't have any pairs of Sennheiser's yet but I have the Sony XM4s, Jabra Elite 75ts, Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro's, JBL Live 300s and a few more but so far, none of them sound as good as my Between Status Pros, IMHO. Great video! Sadly I returned the XM4s. The ANC was intense and scary good on the bus. Coming from the XM3s I wasnt too impressed with the bassy dark sound signature on the XM4. The Momentum TW 2s have GODLIKE sound. Its mindblowing how detailed and thunderous the bass is. Top tier sound.

I brought the CX’s and never looked back, had the xm3’s and while the features and the app was ok, when increasing the volume that DECREASES the bass which I hated.. the CW’s got that THUMP i need!!

I'm with you on that one. Just ordered Sennheiser MTW2, can't wait till they get here. Its an overwhelming vote for their quality 😁. I really believed Sony could pull it off, but they haven't, I don't tend to cut corners on quality and performance.

I just tried your recommended eq settings and oh man! Sounds way better than neutral. Clear and less muddy but bass still kicks!

Yes but still muddy and rather slow base which causes them to not time very good. Comapred to these Soundcore liberty air have way more air, cleaner bass and highs with timing to match. Don't take my word for it . Try them.

I could listen to you all day. I love your passion and attitude. You seem to say, what you really think. You are funny in some ways;) Sure the guys from Sennheiser here in Germany would love your video, too. The company is still in the hand of the owners family and the are really dedicated to sound quality from the beginning until today. I still have those Sennheisers, I bought from the money I got on my 16. birthday, which was in 1995. They are HD 450, later I also bought HD 480 classic edition and the sound is on the same level as the Momentum over ears from today. One last thing, in fact the "S" in Sennheiser is very, very softly spoken in German. Not to be corrective my friend!, but it would just sound pretty cool, moreover if you as an American, would manage it to use German pronunciation. Thanks you very much.

Bro, just got the Senny CX buds. Oh my lord. They blow my samsung buds pro, my soundcore pro, my sony momentum.. basically everything out of the water. Everything else is tinny or bass heavy. I love the equaliser setting, then moving the graph as you listen to fine tune. Who needs anc, ldac 3d etc. These sound... natural with bright and beautiful midtones complementing the treble, and bass if dialed back is perfect and punchy. My man, thank you.

What can i say... 💥 kaboom! I had ANKER, i had Sony, i had Audio Technica, i had Bose, i had Skullcandy, but man... Sennheiser really eats them all. I have never had better and most balanced sound than Sennheiser. They are mind blowing. Amazing 🙂.

I bought the OG Momentum True Wireless earbuds and I was blown away with the sound but unfortunately they were hellishly uncomfortable so I returned them. There is a crazy sale on the MTW2's right now for $325 down from $550 NZD. I'm really tempted to buy them. It's a shame they don't support multiple point connection and wireless charging though. Also not being able to use the left earbud by itself kind of sucks but I guess it's not the end of the world. Do you find them to be pretty comfortable? Liked and Subscribed.

I recently switched from airpods to galaxy buds which I returned and purchased the sennheiser cx. I absolutely love them. The sound is amazing an is not bass heavy its more acoustic which I prefer. I mainly use mine at work so i dont need noise canceling because I still want to hear my surroundings plus they still sound solid without it. Overall i would highly recommend these!

@@emalior5000 the cx have way more bass and are quite a big upgrade in turns of sound but they dont fit as good as the buds i would upgrade if your ears are not tiny.

New subscriber to your channel; I enjoy your videos! Gotta question: Are either of those earbuds better than the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro? I initially was thinking about the XM4's but if either of those Sennheisers have great bass, loudness & fit (Don't really care about ANC) equal or greater than the XM4's I think I'll get a Sennheiser.

Thanks man, I'm currently choosing between the Sony and the MTW2. My brain tells me to choose the Sony as it has the latest tech and stuff but my heart tells me to get the Sennheiser because of the audio quality! I totally agree with the part that the Sony is definitely a great pair but MTW2 just does a little bit better for me. Thanks for helping me in this purchase man! You're GOLD!

@@gagelink2457 I have the MTW1 and the CX PLUS... and the MTW1 win by very far in terms of clarity, details, eq, soundstage, etc.. The hi freq on the MTW1 are "earable" at max volume. Not on the CX PLUS, they are harsh and painfull for the ear pratically, like so many cheap models. Just a bit. But enough to make me pull down the volume by 20%. You clearly ear that the driver is cheaper but try to imitate the MTW. Can't wait for the MTW4 to see the implementation of the new bluetooth version. It will be a pretty big game changer. Cheers.

I love my CX's brother, and totally agree, I dialed the bass back a bit and the sound is the best I've heard. I have the M&D MW08'S and to me, CX's win.

@@joaoqueiroz5551 So I got them today and they are pretty loud. Couldn't listen to them on max volume. They also got the best sound quality I've ever heard from earbuds, but to be fair, I only had the AirPods 2. Gen before. Only problem is the size. My ears are pretty small so I won't be able to wear them for long. Don't know if you needed a review but yeah. I got them for 80€ on Amazon (I live in Germany) and if they fit, they are worth it.

Is it still advisable to buy the Sennheiser Momentum TW2 this day? No new model coming? I am not a audiophile or expert or anything but what I want to hear when listening to music is the clear voice and like separation of instruments, if that is possible lol. I like slow music, especially acoustic songs.

Haha! You can't do that. My suggestion is to purchase 3 earbuds you think may be great. Choose one of them then STOP watching videos about earbuds. It's a never ending rabbit hole and they keep trying to improve.

I’m currently contemplating upgrading to these momentum 2s from my jaybird vistas. Not sure how much of a difference it would be as the vistas have amazing sound and bass as well. I’ve wanted a pair of these for a while now though.. ughhh I don’t know what to do!!?? Lol

I have had wired sennys for years, even got my mum CX whatever as she likes to listen to the wireless/ radio too go to sleep. Also had wireless sennys and I'm glad you've heard the clarity light, so to speak. The only issue I have with the 2's that you look like frankenstein with a bolt through your head (if you are like only 5"8"" with a norma non round head lol). Expensive, but damn they crush sony and give bose a run for your money.

I have not tried Seines. But I do have the Sony and Liberty pro 3. They both are very adaptive. I heard the music in the gym, within about 5 minutes or less I couldn’t hear anything but my music. I had both in my ear for over 3 hours and No soreness.

I got the Cambridge audio melomania 1 over two years ago. They were my first pair of wireless earbuds and have never been disappointed in the sound, or had any itch to try and get a better one once I get them seated in my ear properly. Unfortunately, they seem to be on few peoples radar, and are never included in mass reviews. I’m wondering how they would compare the the sennheiser Cx as they are very similar in every aspect of price, and features.

I've compared my friends' work in audio sales . So I get access to cheap returns and tried out many . To be truthful ,the CX 400 II Precision is just as good if not better in bass and a fuller sound than the Cx wireless . I had most all the cx range in the past 200, 300, 600, 800, etc, including pro models And tried out Multipe wireless Sennheiser Momentum and 400 range . I find the wired 400 and my older ie 800 and older 600 are much better. Plus, you don't have to charge, and I was losing my wireless all the time .

You should try the Sennheiser Momentum 3's, the over ear ones and see how they compare. I normally like over ear over in ear.

Sennheiser have been go to for me for years now, be wired, wireless, open back, true wireless earbuds; got few of them. Think I am gonna get the CX True Wireless. But I still want to wait for the Momentum True Wireless 3 - features and the price.

@@krane15 I found a good replacement for any TWS and gonna stick with these for sometime - it is Ikko OH10 Obsidian IEM and I got separately Bluetooth adapter so I can also use them as wireless.

I'd suggest you only return them after you've tried the replacement buds of "your" choice. I credit these reviewers for the work they put into these videos but when it comes to sound signature & taste I can't trust their judgment 100%. I currently have the Wf1000xm4 & admittedly it is the best out of the few earbuds I have tried.

I was a little disappointed in the ambient sound mode. It isn't as good as my airpord pros, but besides that everything else about these buds is perfect.

Just got my new pair of Momentum 2’s for basically free. Bought My momentum ones last year for $140 and the case broke and they were still under warranty so I sent them back and they sent me a brand new pair of the 2’s and I love them!

New stuff so the momentum 2 would ya say they get loud volume wise?? I'm kinda a volume junkie!! Been 👁these for over yr amd at 219 might pull the trigger on em! My liberty 2 pro soundpeats t2 and now earfun free pro have been my go to earbuds.... would ya say these are worth the investment for better sound over all those? For me the Sennheisers get very loud. I can't push them too close to max. They sound so good and definetly have volume.

Not super loud. I wish mine were a little louder. The moment ones I had were def loud. The 2’s are more balanced

I had them once but sadly returned them because they hurt my ears after awhile. Sennheiser please make the next ones more comfortable.

Got the Sennheiser MTW 2's awhile ago. They sound amazing but I ended up returning those bc the comfort is horrible for my earshape. As soon as I put them on, the left earbud started hurting. I then bought the Sony XM4 instead. So unfortunate bc the MTW 2's sound quality is so damn amazing. Just gotta sacrifice sound for comfort...

You do realize that there is a period where your ears adapt to the new pods. There might be some soreness at first but it will pass.

@@krane15 No, because if that was the case, then the XM4 should also hurt my ears for awhile since before buying these, I've never used earbuds before, only headphones. However, each person's ears are different, and earbuds are designed in different ways, so some earbuds may fit better for some people. So no, the MTW2 simply did not fit my ears as well as the XM4 does.

Maybe if you were paid $100 every time you wore them you'd be more inclined to wait through the adjustment period. i hv the Momentum 2 right now and a little dismayed with the bass. it is not as hard hitting as i would have expected it to be. However, the clarity and timbre of the treble takes the crown for me.

Always bought sennheiser headphones, which is a really amazing sound . The wired cx400 is a bargain for anyone starting out . For a £22 headphones, they will sound just as good as these in the video for £200 plus . I've tried most from sennheiser 200s 400s, movement 3s wireless, and the sports wireless for £100 . But I still pick the wired for quality, no charging and easy of use.

Unfortunately i get very poor noise cancelling reduction on the MTW2, sometimes it even just makes external sound louder.Especiallly in the metro or train station

User error. You're not doing it right. MTW2 are especially tuned to eliminate engine background noises. They do a stellar job at that frequency. I'm talking a 90%~ reduction.

Have to say the same: Tested the Sonys and they are absolutely not in the Sennheiser class. Just pure hype.
