I decided to take the "King +8 health" off all the white cards to make levels not take forever. I could definitely see levels being way too short without it, so I decided to impose a rule where I can't finish until every reinforcement card goes off at least once, and I have to clear out the board at least once (these rules got scrapped pretty quickly). I actually went all the way through the run, even though the boss still had a lot of hp, just to see how long it would take. The cards that give extra damage every X turns are very important, so it's fortunate that I got 2 of them (plus the rats card).
