Shapo is finally growing up.... Instead of shaking his fist after a rare good winner and glaring at his opponent; he is keeping his head down and focusing on the long haul. Instead of his many unforced errors he is now making intelligent shots and building the points waiting patiently for an opening. Lets see if his ranking goes up now.

@@indrekkpringi Yeah he had knee problems, a tendon tear and tendinitis. He took a few months break after Wimbledon to rehab it. He decided not to have surgery but just do rehab. This quote from Jan 7 2024. “The last two, three months, I've been able to practice at 100 percent, which I hadn't been able to do in more than a year,” he said.

Alcaraz is moving great and playing eye catching points. He needs to work on his efficiency in my opinion. By that I mean, he needs to win a lot more points on 0-4 shots bracket. That’s where big 3 set the gold standard. For all the highlights reels that they produced they won most of the points with first strike that never gets mentioned. Big matches are won or lost there. Alcaraz speed is a great gift. He needs to be judicious when to exercise it though. Still young and already has 2 slams. But he can go on to be a true legend of his own accord, if he cracks the 0-4 shots bracket in the game. It will also help him in his longevity.

FAA can’t hit a flat ball he has so much top spin and so much angst all his balls are landing short he just can’t put the ball away like the other guys. I think he just you know is so pressured to whit NGUYEN because you know he was a phenom in the senseso when I was watching him play, Alcrest, the ball would bounce inside the service line every time he hit the ball

He should he have won Cincinnati when Djokovic was down set and a break. That loss stopped his momentum and his level dropped down a bit for the rest of the year. Also he is not top 3, maybe not even top 5 on indoor hard tournaments. But he is getting better even in those conditions. The return to top form was expected on clay, but Jarry and minor ankle injury were against it. Indian Wells is probably his favourite place on tour.

Nadal gave enough to last him until Rome. Rafa told him let win one last Roland Garros, but if I happen to lose before, I'll give another Senzu bag to win RG.

I think Carlos will have harder rhis time against Zverev because conditions are faster and Zverev likes it. His serve is more effective. But Carlos still favourite against him. Against Sinner or Med its 50/50

@@colethomas903 So main differences are you see Dimitrov go through vs Hurcacz Shappo win vs. Arnaldi Kachanov wins vs. Zverev Everytime I think Shapo is back, I get disappointed. Kachanov is very solid, but Zverev on a good day is hard to break. I prefer Carlos to face Kachanov rather than Zverev, actually. 😂😂

If Alcaraz just didn't grunt so annoyingly, he'd be everyone's favorite. Almost unwatchable with the grunting, but dude is a monster. Still shocked he beat Sinner -- look forward to the rematch, now that Sinner has been reminded of his mortality. Both dudes, health permitting, are locks for double-digit Slams. Jannik looking like Novak with more power (but to this point, less technique) and Alcaraz looking like prime Fed (def more Fed than Nadal in his game) with his net game and (incredibly) mastery over all kinds of shots -- nobody does drop/lob remotely effectively besides the freak kid. And, scarily, his serve is just getting better.
